If you have heavy luggage, getting in/out might be tricky as the stairs are narrow and there's no elevator. Also, good to know is that Aegina is a small town and not the busiest island, during the weekdays not much happens there.

The owner was very friendly and helpful. There was an issue with the room we originally booked (someone else didn't check out or whatever), but we got offered a different room instead. First a smaller one we didn't like, then a bigger one that was quite nice. The staff was great, location of the hotel was very near to the center, and the rooms were clean.

air conditioner is not good , room is damp and when we arrive there is a bug in our room. (little spider) Moreover, they did not allow us to enter at the promised time.

staff and location is best. near the beach and some good restaurants. If you'll stay 1-2 nights and you want to walk around all day, if you just need somewhere to sleep, it's a good place.

We did not get the exact same room we expected (the one it showed in our booking) although it was very similar. The bathroom sink also appeared to leak water every time we used it.

The room was very comfortable and organised, and the location is very close to the beach, which is very convenient.

Nothing spectacular regarding sea views. Solid accommodation with a super host.

We were very comfortable with our room but think it needs a woman’s touch. With so much brown furniture and dark floor tiles it could do with neutral blockout curtains and bedspread.

The staff at the Plaza hotel where the check in was were very helpful and welcoming. I had a problem with my phone charger and they immediately sorted it out for me. My room was upgraded and I was given a preferential rate at their restaurant. The location was excellent, close to the beach, bus stop and port.

The bathrooms could have done with being updated but you get what you pay for.

The location was good. A very short walk from the town, beach bars etc. The owners were great super friendly and helpful. Helped with luggage, recommending restaurants and booking tour s and taxi's etc.

As other reviews have said, the economy room has a tiny bathroom, but it didn't really bother us :D

Super friendly owners who go above and beyond! The location is quiet and yet super close to the beach and the town center. Would definitely stay here again.

The most wonderful welcome that I've ever had from Eric, he was friendly and attentive, and we proceeded to our lovely room in Ulrika hotel. A simple yet spacious room, with the most powerful fridge. Only 50m from the sea. On our final day we spoke with Yannis who let us gaciously leave our luggage at the hotel until we departed to Athens. We met the grandfather in the morning, who was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Most fantastic stay.

We had the most fantastic time. The owners and all the poeple working at the Ulrika hotel were super friendly and welcomed us very warmly. What ever we needed, they could help. The hotel is very central and clean. The rooms simple and comfortable. We had a room with a nice view on the sea and could enjoy from there the beautiful sunsets. Our sons had a room on the garden side and enjoid the view on a beautiful tree. We strongly recommend this fantastic location. Dear Kalamakis family, thank you for everything!
