Perfect location. Gorgeous sea view. Roll down blinds to ensure darkness is a blessing with early sunrise. Excellent value for money. Maria very helpful.

We have really nothing bad say

This was honestly the perfect location – right on the beach, where you can hear the soothing sound of the waves from your room. Just next to the hotel there is a fantastic beach club restaurant, definitely one of the best in the whole area, with absolutely delicious food and the friendliest, most professional service. The rooms were spacious and clean, and during our stay the weather was so nice that we didn’t even need to use the air conditioner. Everything felt comfortable and well taken care of. The hotel staff were very kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing stay by the sea – we truly enjoyed every moment here.

We really couldn't complain—everything about our stay was lovely. Just one small suggestion for our gracious host Maria: it would be wonderful if complimentary water bottles were placed in the rooms each morning. It’s a small touch that could make guests feel even more cared for. Also, since the rooms include a charming, furnished kitchen that's well-equipped for basic cooking, we’d recommend adding a bit of dishwashing liquid and a sponge. These little additions would make self-catering more convenient and elevate the experience for future guests. Still, these are just tiny tweaks in an otherwise delightful stay. 😊

We had a wonderful stay at General. The location is truly fantastic—with some of the upper rooms offering balconies that overlook the beach and the breathtaking sea. If you’re lucky enough to book one of those rooms, you're in for a treat! Our room, No. 2, was conveniently close to the reception area. While this made for easy access, it did get a bit noisy in the mornings—Greek hospitality is famously warm, and so are the conversations 😊. A special mention goes to our incredible host, Maria. She was exceptionally welcoming and made us feel right at home. Everything we asked for, she made happen with ease, and her insider tips added so much value to our trip. All in all, an unforgettable experience in a beautiful spot with lovely people. P.S. If you're thinking of renting a car for a day trip or local exploration, just ask Maria—she’ll gladly assist and point you in the right direction. Also, for those who need laundry services, there’s a convenient walk-in laundromat located not far from the hotel. We tried it once and were pleasantly surprised—it’s spotlessly clean, and the prices for both washing and drying are very reasonable.

The bathroom is really little, but for us, it was not a problem, but it could be for someone. Sometimes there was a noise, because people pass by if you have a balcony this way.

Maria is supernice person and all the stuff. The room has everything what you need. The location is perfect, a lot of shops, car rentals, restaurants nearby. But the best restaurant is in the same building. Tasty breakfast. Thank.you so much for the wonderful stay.

The hotel is located on the beautiful Amoudara Beach, a few meters from the sea. The sea view apartments have a fantastic view. There is a huge parking lot next to it, so if you come by car, you can easily find a place for yourself. Maria Trouli is a great manager, if you have any problems, she will solve them. The apartment is clean, the beds are comfortable, the staff is polite. You can also find everything you want at breakfast. We had a great week here.

Nothing to dislike! Everything was great!

We loved absolutely everything about Troulis Seaside. The most wonderful holidays! Maria, the host, is a lovely ,kind lady, who will do everything and more for her guests. She even upgraded our room to a much bigger one for absolutely no change - thank you so much again! Breakfast was very nice, breakfast room - clean and spacious, our hotel room (and the lovely balcony!) was absolutely fantastic! The conditioning worked well and our room was cleaned every day! We also loved the beachfront location and ,of course, the restaurant Waves. Thank you so, so much, Maria! Also a huge thank you to all ladies, who work with Maria at Troulis. We will definitely come back!

Everything was wonderful :)

What I loved most about Troulis Seaside was its unbeatable location 🌊 just steps away from the beautiful, clear beach. The property itself is cozy and inviting, with a relaxed atmosphere that made it easy to unwind. Maria, the host, was incredibly sweet and attentive which made our stay even more special 😍 Plus, having great restaurants and a charming crepe place just a minute’s walk away was a huge bonus. Overall, the combination of comfort, hospitality and amazing surroundings made it a perfect getaway spot.

The heat outdoors.

The property is well situated on the beach. It offers breakfast and daily housekeeping. The management and staff are quite friendly and always willing g to assist. Close to public transport and many restaurants, shops and tourist services. The air condition was a great welcome.

Wi-Fi on the upper floors is not very good :( The shower stall is tiny.

Location is amaizing! The hotel is located right on the seafront and the bus stop to Heraklion is just a 3-minute walk away. The room is not so big but comfortable and has a great view. The host is a bright and friendly person, always ready to help with any questions. The breakfasts are delicious.

The hotel was 1 minute walk from the beach & restaurant, and less than 5 minutes walk from the High street! Breakfast was included in the price and it was delicious! Rooms very clean, cleaned every day, bathroom and shower were small, but not a big issue. Aircon in the rooms was very useful. All staff was friendly, Maria was a lovely host, always available for help, she also provided us with a map and suggestions for places to visit in Crete!

Breakfast was lovely, a buffet selection and even my fussy teenagers enjoyed the food. Coffee was great and a good selection available. Maria, Papa Troulis and,Mama Troulis were usually around and made us feel very welcome. Papa Troulis shared his pomegranate with us. The hotel is right on the beach, literally 20 seconds from door to sunlounger. The resort is small and has just the right amount of Tavernas and shops. Everyone was so friendly. There is a hop on hop off bus into Heraklion and around the town which is perfect for sight seeing and shopping and the hotel is perfectly placed to catch it

To be honest I am trying to find what I did not like :-) even breakfast is delicious and the staff is nice, maybe the breakfast table can be bigger with more choices :-) for example, i missed zucchini pie, some croissants or other bakery items and Greek coffee :-)

All is very very nice, unbelievable. Marija in reception was very polite, nice and helpful. Vila is 10 meters from beach, they have a restaurant with very good food on the beach and their sunbeds. I enjoyed and recommend this place. 50 meters is the bus station to go to Heraklion. No mistakes if you select this place.

The hotel rooms are a bit outdated and need some maintenance work. Small bathroom (but quite typical in Greece).

Kind staff, amazing sea view from the room, beach right in front of the hotel with free sun bads (with min. spending of 7€ at the beach bar).
