How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

House in splendid position, very close to the sea. Friendly and careful host, who has been very available to find solutions to some unexpected needs of ours.

Everything is newly refurbished and clean. I would strongly recommend it. However a few things - small details - needed to be fixed: the mosquito net of one of the windows was broken, the blender available in the kitchenette did not work, the toilet seat moved, the air conditioned flow was direct on the bed head.
Very quiet. Newly refurbished and clean. Walking distance from the beach and the restaurants.

Aircondition is very old and noisy. Could be good if renewed.
Very nice and tidy property. Bathroom and kitchen is renewed so very clean and working great. The location is around 40 minutes to port but in a beautiful village with great tavernas.

We loved how Maria welcomed us. Her energy was so positive and welcoming. Everything was so nice for us- super cozy, good location…. They were helpful and spontaneous when we wanted to rent a car. Wow! Super easygoing and flexible. We were impressed. Thank you 🙏💕

Gorgeous property in a beautiful, peaceful location. Lots of space, very clean. Really liked the shady seating area at the front. We've stayed here before so it was our first choice when returning to Emporios.

Excellent place, spacious room, simple access for family with a baby stroller, new bathroom, well equipped kitchen. Mosquito nets on all windows. Very friendly and supportive owner of the place.

great terrace for a breakfast in the morning sun, astonishing view over the bay, everything taken care of with an eye for details, and Panormitis was always helping immediatly even with strange requests :) would love to come again!

Overall well equipped but the unit with the hot plates is in need of replacing as they barely give out heat anymore.
We have stayed at the accommodation several times and really love the location. A tranquil setting with fantastic views all around. Clean comfortable accommodation. Well maintained and equipped . Microwave, kettle ,coffee maker, toaster etc are all new. The beds are really comfortable. The bathroom had recently been redecorated and a great shower. We would have no hesitation in staying again

The apartment was super cute, clean and very well equipped even for cooking. The balcony was really nice and had a really nice view as well. The bed mattresses were very comfortable. The bathroom also really nice. Great value for money!

We liked everything
The beds were very comfortable with air con working well views from a good sized balcony were superb the WiFi was good quality new bathrooms were great and apartment was kept very clean. The owner was very friendly and wanted to ensure our stay was excellent we rate this 10 out of 10 we enjoyed our stay tremendously.

Staircase to property steep
Excellent location with lovely views to the sea and mountains. Clean studio room, comfortable beds and pillows. Newly completely done bathroom with excellent shower.nice balcony with table and chairs

The drain of the shower was not working well but we said to the owner and he was ready to take care of it.
Beautiful quiet place, two steps to the beach and restaurants in the village, The owner was waiting for us, we got an upgrade to a nicer studio. The bathroom was renewed recently and the room was huge with all the facilities, comfortable mattresses.We prepared breakfast in the stunning balcony. Private parking. We got a late check out as our ferry was leaving late evening

Lighting on the exterior spiral staircase would be very helpful.
Great shower, comfy beds, wonderful view and friendly welcome. Maria was exceptionally helpful and the welcome bottle of wine from Panormitis was a nice touch. Overall a great stay and excellent value for money
