Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IsraelWe are wine lovers and the wines we received as part of the "all inclusive" could (and should!) be better. We managed... Our suite had a patio with pivate pool, but one afternoon we had ants as partners to our patio... it took couple of hours to get someone to spray. For the hotel stuff, you are doing great across the board, get this issue resolved!
The facility is new and well maintained. The stuff is always available and helpful, all departments. The private pool that was part of our suite.

ItalyThere was a powerful smell of burning rubber every day in the annex building where our room was. Not sure where it came from, the elevator?? Our phone did not work so I alerted the front desk but it was never fixed. The pools closed sooo early; 18.00.
Location was good near beach and old town. The breakfast was delicious.

IsraelHonestly, nothing. Our stay exceeded all expectations.
We loved the outstanding hospitality from the moment we arrived – the staff was always attentive and greeted us with a warm smile, regularly checking if we needed anything. The à la carte restaurant (Chef’s) was absolutely delicious, accompanied by wonderful live music. Breakfast exceeded our expectations with its variety and quality. We stayed in three different types of rooms, all of which were comfortable and well-maintained. The pool area was fantastic, and the entire hotel was exceptionally clean throughout our stay.

NetherlandsWe only missed fresh melon at breakfast.
I would highly recommend this hotel! The location is great, just a 15 min walk to the old town and the beach is just around the corner. The hotel is very kids/family friendly. The property itself has two pools, everything is clean and well maintained. We stayed in a family room (159) with our two kids. The room is spacious, has great closet space a balcony and the cleaning service is spot on. The buffet restaurant offers a good breakfast with endless options. Fresh coffee instead of and automatic machine made my espresso loving husband very happy. The only thing that we missed, was fresh melon. We had dinner at the buffet restaurant once which was also a good experience. On Friday and Saturday you have the option of eating at the a la cart restaurant, this was a great experience which I also would recommend. The prawn ceviche was so good and the Apaki pork is just something special and very tasty. The staff working in the restaurants are friendly and focused and the staff at the reception are very helpful, they made several bookings outside the hotel for us. They have entertainment every night, except from Sunday. From classic music, traditional Greek music to a circus night and fire show. It only takes one hour so if you prefer a quiet evening, that’s still possible. But our kids loved it! The lady at the kidsclub is just the sweetest and our kids enjoyed making craftwork there. I went all in and also took a calm massage at their spa, which was really nice and relaxing. Spa is very clean. Furthermore what I loved is that you have all of the options and facilities of a resort hotel, but not the crowds and you still get the personal and friendly treatment. Thanks again to all of the staff, Angelika, Christina, Michalis , Eris, Stalos, the friendly guy from South Africa and in and in special Eleni, we had a great time at your hotel and we will come back!

SerbiaHotel is few minutes from the beach and main promenade that leads to old town (20 min walk from the hotel), has a nice pool and spa, and restaurant with evening entertainment. Rooms were modern, wonderful, clean, with good air conditioning, fridge and coffee maker. Hotel breakfast and dinner were also amazing with great variety of food every day. Staff were really welcoming and happy to help whatever was needed. We would definitely come here again.

United KingdomThe air conditioning was very weak. It took ages to kick in and get cool when we were in 30+ degree heat. The uniform the pool bar staff have to wear doesn't match the hotel vibe. I'm not sure why they have to wear these strange floral dresses, but hopefully, they are comfortable. Really lovely patio area near hotel lobby but as the bar was one floor down, it was hard to figure out exactly how you get served there without having to go down to the bar to tell them you are up there first.
The hotel was great. It has an impressive, nice, and modern design. I loved the colour and aesthetics. The room was very big, and the bed very comfortable (it was a superior pool view room) on the top floor. The room and towels were cleaned daily, and it was easy to set up DND if you wanted to lie in. Breakfast choice was plentiful; despite how busy it was, food was constantly replenished quickly. The food at the pool bar was also good, lots of choice, good quality of food and didn't wait too long for anything. All the staff we encountered throughout the hotel were polite, friendly, and helpful. Marianna at the pool bar was an absolute hero. She recommended great wine and cocktails from the menu, and was just lovely to chat with in general. The hotel's location was great for us. It was about a 20-minute walk along the beach to the old town, which was lovely to do pre- and post-dinner. It's a flat walk, so it's not strenuous at all, and there is a lot to see along the way. We liked that we were close to the beach, could utilise the bars/restaurants in the local area, and were also a stone's throw away from the town.

IrelandIt was possible to hear quite a bit of noise in the room from passing traffic, although this did not greatly impact us as we only stayed for one night. Also, there was a surprising lack of little extras for a hotel of this purported caliber e.g. no shower caps or vanity kits in the bathroom; no coffee machine in the room.
Nice, clean hotel with small but comfortable rooms. Everything worked well. Breakfast was good and they were able to cater for dietary issues. Lovely common areas, including the pool. It was a pleasant walk to the old town, along the promenade. We had no difficulty finding a parking spot on the street near the hotel, although maybe we were just lucky with that!

Romania-
The hotel has 2 buildings, each of them with outdoor swimming pool. The one in the back has also a small indoor swimming pool and a gym. Everything is sparkling clean, breakfast has a good variety, staff is nice and helpful. The hotel is nearby the sea and the center. Rethymno it's great with an atmosphere of modern holiday place with a wide variety of modern cafes and restaurants while, at the same time you have the old town and you find yourself back in time with old historic buildings, small streets and shops with great local herbs and spices. We've been in several places in Crete, but if I would have known from the very beginning, Rethymno would be the best choice.

United KingdomSwimming pools were not heated and it was not possible to swimming in any of them as the water was very cold. Didn’t like the fact that you had to pay 3 euros a day to use the room safe. That should have been provided free of charge.
Stunning swimming pool area. General design of the hotel was fantastic apart from dining room which was a little old fashioned compared to the rest of the hotel.
