Honestly there was nothing wrong. It is a perfect basic accommodation- great for young eople.

Really amazing location and super convenient. When we arrived they organised a free transfer for us and on departure also. The room was clean and central to the nightlife. Room had a fridge which was super handy.

I loved the location, super close to Chora and the room was easy to find and always very clean. Nikos (the owner) was very friendly, helpful and kind a great contact to have. He gave us pointers for the island and was alwasy available to reach, he even picked us up from and to the port. The room was very comfortable with beautiful view of the Chora, very close to amenities incl. a local super market, the local club, bars, restaurants and the bus station.

Very well located in the city center of Ios. Located only a few minutes away by walk from the restaurants and night life which is ideal for solo traveler, especially women when going home alone at night. The Owners were very nice and helpful making the stay very smooth.

Very nice place in the center of town and with an amazing view from the balcony. Close to shops, bars, the bus stop, … The transfer from and to the port was a nice bonus.

I like everything about Lofos the Hill. I dislike developments by millionaires that take away from.the natural beauty of the island.

Have travelled to Ios since 1981. I prefer the natural authentic qualities of Ios. The rooms at Lofus are traditional village rooms with all you need. The location excellent. Nikos is great. Very helpful and an authentic Greek family.

The location was perfect- only about 3mins walk from the centre. Even shorter walk down to the bus stop for the beach. The host gave us free transport to and from the port and was very accommodating about any requests we had!

The property was excellent. It’s was very comfortable and clean. The view from the terrace is incredible. The host is very friendly and helpful. He even transferred us from and to the port for free. The location is perfect. It's 3 min walk to the main town where all the clubs and shops are. There is also a bus station and a supermarket nearby.

Niko was a phenomenal host - offered free transport to and from the port and was very helpful throughout our stay. The location is what made this stay so enjoyable for us as it’s a 2 min walk to clubs and markets + there’s a supermarket at the end of the driveway. The room was comfortable with a nice porch. Bus stop is close too.

Everything was perfect!

Ios it's perfect island for vacation and Lofos The Hill is the top place to stay in. Nikos(our host) picked us up from the port when we arrived and drove us to the port when we were leaving. We stayed at his hotel for 5 nights. He was all the time kind and great to us. We asked for a room on a second floor before we arrive and he gives us room on floor 2. Nikos respects the details and the opinion of his guests. All the hotel staff are wonderful, especially the girl who cleaned the rooms. She was PERFECT, every day perfect clean service. Everything was clean and tidy, new towels every day. Yes, you can read rightly, every day new perfect towels. Most of the places in booking.com will provide you new towels on day 3. Lofos - The Hill is providing new towels every day! We needed a printer to print our boarding passes, Nikos helped us with that as well. He and his daughter printed our boarding passes. Really appreciate this perfect service and kind attitude. Thanks for all, Nikos! We definitely will search for Lofos - The Hill once we decide to turn back to Ios.

There wasn’t enough toilet paper. The fridge didn’t work properly and was leaking. The air conditioner was the biggest pain as it would turn off every time someone opened a door or a window. For a solo traveller it would be fine but in a room with other people, it meant every time someone left you had to turn it back on (including when you are sleeping). The rooms are just not big enough for 3 people. In the triple rooms the beds were so close together they were basically touching and you could barely walk between them.

The location is really good. The hotel is located on the top of a steep hill which wasn’t ideal.

Wash hand basin tiny with shelf above so even difficult to brush you teeth or shave. No kettle in room but a kitchen at reception however we were refused permission to be able to boil water to make our own coffee. We asked if the tap water was drinkable and were told it was not. There are sometimes outlets for drinking water around town which are free but he didn’t tell us there was one. He said we must buy our water from the supermarket. We subsequently found out there was a drinking water outlet right across the road from us. Unbelievable to be so obstructionist.

Good location but on steep hill. The view very nice across to the Chora and supermarket close by.
