The only thing not great is the cost of a cab to the airport which is so close by. Just ridiculous that there isn’t a bus or shared ride service that travels directly the 10-15 minutes to Artemida. The public bus goes a round about way that takes over an hour and a cab costs 25 Euros.

Thanos was great - the studio just perfect for adjusting to the time change and exploring the area before setting out on our adventures.

We had a REALLY early start and it was a little tricky to get the room dark enough to sleep the evening before. But this wouldn't stop us staying again, its a lovely little apartment with a very sweet host.

Wonderful location near the beach and airport. Apartment was spacious and clean with a lovely nature outlook. Owners were great communicators and very helpful with airport transfers, even getting up at 5.30am when my taxi didn’t arrive! Would definitely stay again.

The only thing is that if you don't come with a car, the path from the bus stop to the property is unpaved, can be a bit difficult to pull the luggage.

The hosts thought about everything, you can find everything you need in the studio, kitchen stuff, cleaning stuff, everything~ Nice location to the beach and more busy part of the town, if you didn't want to say goodbye to Greek sea too soon, definitely stay there, you can quickly go to the beach, have a dip and come back to shower and leave. Also, we stayed five or six apartments in this Greek trip, the bathroom here is the ONLY one having a well closed shower room (very important!) and we really appreciate that.

Always love staying at Thanos :) Lovely people rent out their upstairs apartment that has nice views. Super clean and great space. Comfy bed. Close to beach with tavernas, cafes, bars, supermarket, bakery and short walk to shops. Enjoy watching planes too as quick drive to airport.

Nothing we didn’t like

Great, attentive host couple with a nice private studio upstairs. Felt looked after with teas and croissants but also free to do as we please. We stayed here for one night after we arrived into Athens late and it was perfect - we were able to park on the big drive and walk 2 mins to the beach in the morning for breakfast.

The room was quite bright in the morning since the living room had no black out. The light woke me up pretty early.

The location was great, easy few minutes walk to the beach and restaurants. The host was very welcoming and helped us on the day we were leaving as the taxis were on strike. Its a lovely apartement and we would stay again.

Location is a 2min walk to the nearest beach and cafes .5min walk to a small local supermarket,( room allows for self catering)and 10mins to the small township,with shops ,galleries and a small marina. Rooms were spacious, homely.Balcony overlooked orchard garden,hosts friendly and helpful.

Everything was absolutely perfect.

Everything, Thanos and his wife, the bed, the gifts that he give to us, he support us with our luggage, we want to stay there forever. The beach is 4 minutes walking, the restaurants near by the best food, honestly my favorite place not in the city, because I love the beach, and this area close to the airport is my favorite to stay to have a really good rest, they have a big garde, and is just so peaceful and amazing this place. Fantastic location close to the airport and nice beaches in a beautiful apartment. Loved the porch overlooking the garden. Mountain view from one window and ocean view from another! Short walk to the beach and many restaurants. Incredible value. Host arranged transportation to and from the airport and made our first day in Greece incredibly easy.

Exceptionally friendly courteous welcome after we arrived very late on Easter Saturday night. Thanos gave us a small Easter gift of traditional bread and coloured eggs, together with two samples of his own red and white wines.

This is one of my favourite places to stay, Thanos and his family are wonderful hosts they take care of you at all times. I felt like at home. Spotless clean, beautiful garden, close to the beach, caffes and tavernas. I will definitely be back.

It is perfectly located for an airport stopover or a longer stay near the sea. It is on a quiet peaceful street a two minute walk from the beach and sea front. Self contained large studio apartment above the hosts home.. They are very kind welcoming and attentive. We could not fault this lovely place.

It was perfect!

Lovely place to spend the night if you have landed at Athens International and plan to travel the next day. Beautiful gated property so vehicle is secure. Kindest hosts that are there for any needs. Last Year we were lost and had no internet, it was so late and Thanos drove to where we were to guide us.
