How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

There is nothing I didn’t like about the hotel. This was the 2nd consecutive year my husband and I stayed in this hotel and we always feel like home.
The hotel is centrally located just a few minutes away from the main shopping streets in a nice, quiet road one block away from the sea promenade.

If I had to point out one downside, it would be that the room didn’t have quite enough charging points for all the devices I travel with. In today’s world of laptops, phones, and wearables, a couple more outlets would make things even smoother. That said, it’s a small issue in an otherwise excellent stay—I’d happily return.
I recently stayed at Teight Hotel in Thessaloniki and loved the experience. The location couldn’t be better—just steps from the waterfront and right in the middle of the city’s buzz. My room was modern, spotless, and super comfortable, with little touches like a Nespresso machine and smart controls that made it feel effortless. The staff were genuinely warm and helpful, always ready with a smile or local tip. Breakfast was fresh and beautifully presented. It felt like a perfect mix of sleek design and authentic Thessaloniki energy—I’d definitely stay here again.

The breakfast could use a couple of extra options but generally cannot complain.
Excellent location in the heart of Thessaloniki. Small walk to the most popular areas and the promenade is less than a minute away. Room was spacious, clean, quiet, nice facilities all in all. Front desk was helpful and friendly.

I had a wonderful stay! The staff were welcoming and attentive, the room was spotless and comfortable, and the location was perfect. Highly recommend for both business and leisure travelers. and the coffee at breakfast was AMAZING!

the hotel is small but very conveniently located in the city center . it is extremely clean, and the interior is stylish and cozy. the only downside is that there's no parking available, but overall , we really liked it. we didn't try the breakfast, but our experience was very positive.

Shampoo and body lotion was not replenished during our 4 night stay. Staff in breakfast area were not very pleasant, they couldn’t be bothered to greet us or even say good morning.

There was a constant issue with the wifi connection and as well as a limited coverage of 4/5G.
Excellent location, friendly staff, clean rooms and good breakfast. What else do you want for a city hotel?!!

The breakfast quality did not match the quality of the hotel. The selection was the same the three mornings we had breakfast. There was no fresh cut fruit. Only tasteless whole apples and hard pears. The breakfast at S Boutique hotel is excellent. Perhaps the management could see what is served there and change the breakfast. The hotel room floor- the carpet- didn’t seem as clean as it could be.
Well designed. Great location. Comfortable if very firm bed. We had 3 different rooms including the one with a couch and large terrace. All rooms were comfortable. Helpful and friendly staff.
