Villa was in a beautiful location overlooking the bay and George was a fantastic host! Villa has all needed amenities within and pool was very clean and well maintained.

The house is spacious and with all that we needed for the holiday. It worked well for short stay but would work as well for long stays. The pool has sun from early morning which is great for early morning swims.

We were there for 5 nights and no one ever came in to clean the room or replace towels That was the only negative, as we too have a villa on a different island and do daily housekeeping. We were basing our stay on what we do .

The only negative for us was one bathroom was downstairs, and there wasn't a bathroom on the attic floor. Both bathrooms were on the small side, but nicely done and modern and clean.

Superb view - we loved watching the boats come in and out of Kontolaki marina from the terrace and even the living room. The villa is on a very quiet road, in a quiet bay. With a couple of restaurants and a mini-market walkable. The boat guys outside the front door were great too. The villa itself is bigger than we thought it would be. The living room/kitchen/diner is huge with patio doors to make the most of the view. The kitchen is very well equipped and even includes a water filter so you don't need to buy bottled water. We received a small goodies pack on arrival including a bottle of chilled water, which was much appreciated after a day travelling. The two double bedrooms on the first floor are pretty much equal in size and open onto a terrace. On the top floor is a large attic room. All beds were very comfy. And there were spare pillows. Plus bath and pool towels are provided. The pool area is great, plenty of sunbeds and brollies, and the pool cleaned every day. You even get a side view of the bay from the pool. It's not overlooked so you do feel like you get a lot of privacy. It's 2 villas that share the pool, there is a 3rd villa on the end but that has its own private pool. We were lucky to have the pool to ourselves for the first 4 days, as the 2nd villa was empty until then.

The location is ok, about a 15/20 minute drive to the main town and popular beach resorts, but Kommeno itself doesn't have a beach, or much in the way of amenities. There is only one restaurant, Avelle, which is part of the Rodostomo Hotel, and a modern coffee shop, Hyalus, on the corner of the main road. There are no shops in Kommeno Bay, which is a shame, as you have to walk onto the main road, where the traffic is fast moving and rarely willing to stop to let you cross! But none of this is the fault of the property at all - just worth mentioning for those looking at the area. It is also worth noting that the property had no basic toiletries or essentials (eg bottled water / salt / pepper / olive oil) when we arrived, which we have had in other similar stays in Greece, so it's worth getting those en route to the property. However, when we asked, toilet roll was kindly provided.

A spacious and modern home with an excellent pool, suitable for children and adults alike. The home was very clean and our host, Christopher, was friendly and amenable when we checked in and checked out. The pool is shared with another property, however it is so large - and so is the surrounding area - that it is never an issue. The views over Kommeno Bay were lovely, and you can walk to a nearby church, which is a nice area to relax.

- The staircase in the 2-bedroom villa is steep and a bit narrow. - When we arrived, we couldn't know for sure which apartment was reserved for us (but we guessed right). - In the middle of our stay, George got in touch with us and said he was very sorry, but he had made a mistake and the apartment we were staying in was booked for other guests, so he kindly asked us to move to the apartment next door. While we packed and moved to the adjacent villa, the other guests arrived so we became stressed to move as quick as possible. It would have been better for us to be informed in advance, as we would have moved out our stuff in the morning. However, due to the mistake we stayed 3 nights in a 3-bedroom villa (instead of a 2-bedroom villa), which was nice :)

An excellent place for a peaceful vacation in Corfu! George's apartments are right on the beach. The beach is quiet (yet not suitable for bathing), the views of the bay and the church are lovely, there is plenty of parking, an excellent restaurant a short walk away, and it is easy to access to the island's main roads to Sidari, Paleokastritsa and Kerkyra. The units are tastefully decorated, modern, clean, very bright and with large windows facing the view. The apartment is exceptionally equipped - mosquito nets (important!), parasols in the balcony and in the garden, a water filter in the kitchen, a large refrigerator, a clothes hanger, a washing machine and more. The pool is great and has a shallow area for toddlers and water games for children (I would recommend extending the operating hours of the lights around the pool, which turn off automatically). We didn't lack for anything and whenever we needed something, George gladly answered and equipped us with everything that was missing. Excellent place for families - the children really enjoyed being in a spacious house with a garden and a pool!

Stunning location with magnificent views. The owner and his son were extremely accommodating. This was beyond our expectations. Rooms were very clean with comfortable beds. They even have a large pool area with a BBQ area. You will not be disappointed. We will definitely be back!

The air con was very complicated to turn on and it couldn’t be left on whilst we were out so it made it very uncomfortable when we got back and we’re trying to get ready for the evening If you have the shower on full then the drainage can’t cope and it ended up with the whole bathroom being like a pool We never used the pool as there were 2 babies staying in the other apartment who were in the same pool. In most places babies are not allowed in for the reason of toileting in the pool which can and has in the past led to ear infections so bc we were not prepared to risk that When we arrived the owner said that the previous guests had list the key to the main gate so when we got back at night we had to use the hidden key for the next door property to get in at the back. On the 3rd day the owner still hadn’t had a new key cut and we had to knock him up out of bed in order to get our car out for the day. The stairs were quite narrow and circular which makes it difficult with luggage- luckily we didn’t have any large suitcases so we managed but it was a bit scary, especially at night after a few drinks

The location was excellent with a superb restaurant - Avalle just a few minutes walk away. It is also very convenient for the cruise and ferry ports and the airport The villa itself has stunning views and is very tastefully decorated It has all the equipment you will need for a holiday stay including a washing machine and was very clean There were 2 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms however only one of the rooms was on the same floor as a bathroom which didn’t matter to us as we were only a couple but if there were 2 couples staying there one would have a bedroom on the third floor up and a bathroom on the ground floor The owner was very pleasant and was happy to give us suggestions of places to go
