Small points to consider: Have fresh orange juice ( not diluted juice) at breakfast and offer coffee other than filtered ( even if it costs extra.) This is personal preference though. Others might be quite happy.

The location is perfect , a little walk up from the town and beach ( a little steep) The views from the roof top restaurant are stunning. The food in the restaurant is excellent also. Breakfast is really good and is served by the pool. The pool is a good size and is kept spotlessly clean as is everywhere in and around the hotel itself. Nikos and the whole team are exceptionally helpful , friendly and kind. We have already booked to go back soon!

The double bed was a little on the small side but still manageable and certainly wouldn't put me off all of the other great things this hotel has to offer.

The staff were exceptional. Friendly helpful and they went the extra mile to look after everyone. The view from the property looks down over the bay and it's stunning. There's a little path just outside of the property where you can walk down to the main street easily, within less than 10 minutes, you're right on the beach. Our room was a decent size with an extra cold fridge in the kitchenette which was handy for ice cold drinks in the heat. Everything was very clean and well kept.

I don't have much to complain about but my room felt a little dated; the bathroom was quite dark but i didn't spend too much time in it. The aircon was quite noisy and it took me a few nights to work out how to use it at night to make it quieter. The balcony and views more than made up for it! There were a lot of people smoking around the pool and bar area which can't be helped.

This is a lovely place! I arrived late, after midnight due to my flight being delayed, and as soon as I arrived someone came out to help me with my luggage to my room and I was told to check-in in the morning. I opened my curtains in the morning to a beautiful sea view. The hotel is on a busy road but i couldn't hear the traffic from the room. The facilities are good - the bed was comfy, there's a kitchenette and i had two balconies, both with great views. There is air con too although it took me a while to figure it out! The staff really do make this place unforgettable. Incredibly friendly and lovely. I was travelling on my own and they always spoke to me, helped with directions and suggestions and made me feel at ease. The food is also fab! The rooftop restaurant is incredible with great views and food, all very reasonable too. I ate once at the pool bar which was fine. The pool is a good size and open all day and into the evening. The hotel is a good 7min walk to the beach and tavernas, down a steep hill, so it's not for anyone who has problems with walking. I walked up it at night and didn't feel unsafe although there are no street lights. Take a torch or use your phone! It is a lovely area. Tucked away but close enough.

All the staff were outstanding in their approach to service and we felt valued staying at the property. Any requests were handled and dealt with straight away. Breakfasts were buffet style and a wide enough range for everyone, freshly cooked and delicious! The onsite restaurant has a spectacular view and the food amazing, with a good choice. Sea view room had a great view of Souda Bay and the mountains. Rooms were clean and the grounds were very well looked after and tidied on a regular basis. Wonderful staff!!!

The rooms are ok but not modern. The clothing iron is given upon request. The location is a 10 minutes walk from the sea and you need flashlights when returning home at night. The tv in the room was not smart.

Only downside was the shower was really small with a non functional curtain so the entire washroom basically stayed wet throughout the stay. No hot water really either.

Amazing place, nice pool, 5-6 min walk to the beach, comfortable room, nice bar/restaurant. But the best part were the staff - super friendly, extremely helpful in whatever you needed. Would highly recommend staying here.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any request. My room was spotless and very comfortable, and I loved the partial sea view from the window. The cleanliness throughout the hotel was top-notch. The beach was just a short walk away.

Everything was great. As a suggestion, it would be nice to have a bottle of water in the room upon check-in. In hot weather, this would be very helpful.

We booked a double room with sea view - on the booking..com, for this type of room Sunrise suites and apartments attached pictures with the pool view from the terrace of the room but that was a totally big error because we couldn't see any pool from our terrace.

Shower curtains are a pretty poor design! A cushion for the outdoor seating would be good. To describe as didn’t like is harsh though… just minor improvements!

Breakfast was good - occasionally a bit too much cheese for a non-cheese eater! Staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. They helped us get two ground floor rooms so that we were close to the children in their own room. Great suggestions for when to go to Chania to avoid cruise ship timing, suggested where to eat, checked bus times, ordered taxis…. Evening meals were delicious and good value. Easy walk to beach and town for other restaurants.
