Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

FinlandBad smell from air conditioner, we had to change the room to the other one. During breakfast, half an hour before the closure, there was always a lack of dishes, cups, glasses, forks, and fruits, and you need to query all this. It looks like the hotel saves on personnel, which impacts the turnaround. The breakfast area is too hot, bad air conditioned. If you are with small kids, better not to take a balcony to the pool/bar area, it is quite noisy till the night, otherwise if you like music, you can enjoy :) Wifi is terribly bad in the buildings. In the 4th is completely out of reach. One more - the pool of this 4* hotel is shared with the other 3* hotel Filmar, which is not mentioned anywhere, excepting Filmar hotel. So, it's getting quite crowded most of the day time :(
Arising problems are getting solved when arizing. Personnel is friendly and helpful.

GreeceWe stayed the first night at another hotel next to Sunny days due to lack of available rooms, something that we couldn't understand as we had made the booking several months prior to arrival. We received an upgraded room though the next day. The cleaning service was not very good. The towel hanger was broken. The ac in our room was malfunctioning (started to run in the middle of the night making loud noise). Breakfast was good but not various so we preferred having breakfast at local bakeries most of the days.
Very nice location, free parking space close to the hotel. Friendly personnel.

IrelandOur room was facing out towards the pool and there was music playing around the bar past midnight even though nobody was at the bar.
Very friendly staff upon arrival. The pool was great and had lots of sunbeds besides the bar. Very convenient location as It was in the middle of the town. The room was very big and spacious and was equipped with the right essentials. We had a great view of the pool from the private veranda.

GreeceBreakfast was till 10. So one morning I arrived at 9:53 and a guy in the restaurant was so rude, he told me that I came late and I should eat in 7 minutes.. I complainted in the receiption and the staff imediatelly reacted to resolve the issue. They gave me late check out that I really appreciated it.
Nice environment, value for money, nice location, large room. I would chose it again

IsraelI had a problem when I arrived, I had paid for a room in which it is explicitly said there's a balcony in the room when I complained the reception said the hotel said there was nothing to do because they were completely full and had no other room to give me. I asked about a partial refund and was told to see that with the reservation center. I smoke and I choose my rooms depending on the balcony!
The staff were great and the hotel itself very nice.

IrelandWhen we checked in, a staff member said “Tiocfaidh ár lá” to us - a phrase linked to the IRA, who committed countless atrocities in Ireland, where we are from. This was not just inappropriate, it was deeply offensive, and it instantly left a bad taste in our mouths. Things didn’t improve. When we got back to our room that first night, the air conditioning was leaking. I called reception and was told no one could fix it until the next day, but towels would be sent up to “deal with it” overnight. We had to leave damp towels on the floor, which of course stank the following day. The leak was supposedly fixed the next day, but a day later we returned to find rubble on the floor and what looked like bits of the air conditioning unit. Someone had clearly been in our room, even though we never asked for anyone to come in. This felt like a complete invasion of our privacy. One night, while waiting for a taxi outside, a staff member from the restaurant told us the hotel’s transfer service was the same price as a local taxi (€11 to Rhodes). We were later charged €15. It’s not about the €4 - it’s the fact we were told one thing and charged another. On top of that, we were constantly hounded for payment even though we’d agreed to settle up at checkout. They rang our room several times and even called us out in front of other guests as we passed reception. One receptionist in particular was incredibly rude and condescending. On the night we left, she claimed we hadn’t paid a towel deposit, got annoyed when we asked to book a taxi, and then actually shouted across the lobby at us when it arrived. Not just raised her voice - full-on shouting. Completely unprofessional and totally embarrassing. Breakfast was also disappointing every single day. It felt like the staff didn’t even want to be there. Overall, we left this hotel angry, offended, and extremely let down.
