Had a very pleasant stay at Sun Maris. Mary was a great host, very welcoming. The location is great; near the beach and local restaurants and has great transport links to places such as the Old Town and the Airport.

We usually stay at 5-star hotels, but we chose this one because of the amazing reviews—and it turned out to be the best decision! The owner, Mary, is absolutely wonderful: warm, helpful, and so friendly. It felt more like staying at a cozy home than a hotel. Everything was very clean and beautifully maintained. There are plenty of cafés and restaurants nearby, and the beach is just a short walk away. We would love to come back someday—hopefully we will! 🙂

Mary kindly greeted us on arrival and told us everything we needed to know about Rhodes and recommended loads of amazing places. She was always on hand to give us everything we needed. The property was super clean and location is fab, 100% recommend to anyone and we will be definately coming back

I contacted Mary before we arrived. She was very kind and flexible in everything. We arrived ahead of schedule, but that was no problem. We were given a map and lots of useful information about places to visit and recommended restaurants. The apartment is centrally located, yet quiet. A good base for exploring the sights. It has a super pool which we used a lot. The beach is within walking distance, supermarket nearby. Mary prepared us a delicious traditional lunch. <3 They cleaned the room daily and we thank them for that.

Hotel is very very clean. The location is great, close to the city and the beach, close to everything you need, 30m away from the bus station. Mary is a great hostess, helps with all the information, she made exploring the island so much easier. I highly recommend Sun Maris Hotel

Everything. Hotel incredibly clean. All public areas constantly cleaned. Apartments are spotless and have everything you need. We stayed in a 1 bed apartment which had lots of space. Pool area and gardens lovely and again spotlessly clean even though we had a few large downpours of rain over our stay. Best bit about the place though is your host Mary. She owns and runs it and she never stops. She is the friendliest lady and so helpful with anything you need. We loved her and were so sad to leave after our 5 nights there. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and we will definitely be returning someday.

Everything was perfect, Sun Maris is the place to be if you want to feel at home. Everything was clean, nice pool, good airconditioning, confortable beds, location is central to everything, 5 min walk to the beach, 1 min walk to bus stations, at 1 min away from reastuarants and cocktail bars. Mary is the warmest, and kindest person that I ever met, she will help you with every question you have. At the bar you have delicious drinks and food dat Mary makes. I wish my hollidays could be longer at Sun Maris. Worth to try. Greetings.

Maybe the connection to wifi, that’s the only “problem” we had at our room sometimes but we didn’t care since we were on holiday and didn’t need much time in our phones.

We honestly enjoyed every aspect of our stay here. The accommodation was sparkling clean and had all necessities. Simple but everything one would need for a holiday in the sun.

We could not recommend Sun Maris enough! We would recommend it to anyone traveling to Rhodes. From the moment we arrived, Mary made every moment brilliant. The hotel itself is lovely. Everything is spotlessly clean and the pool area is gorgeous, but also nice and quiet. The location is perfect for exploring Faliraki, walking distance to everything (Shops/Bars/Cafes/restaurants etc.)

Mia (the cat) was very absent and walked her own paths all the time. We love cats so hoping next year she'll be more engaging 😉🤣

We liked absolutely everything. Great location, lovely spotless rooms, most comfortable beds we ever slept in, very relaxing time by the pool and overall most enjoyable experience while on holidays where we really felt like it was a home away from home. Exceeded expectations, big time. 💗 Mary (the owner) is some woman for one woman! Her energy is inspiring and uplifting, and Mary's sparkle is a bonus on top of everything. Victoria (housekeeper) is lovely too and very professional in her job. We will be regulars now, I'm sure. Can't wait to go back next season!

Honestly nothing.

Mary was the best host we could ever ask for, she made us feel so welcome from the minute we arrived. The hotel is spotless! Not a spec of dirt anywhere. The pool was amazing with brand new sun loungers and tables, it felt like we were in a private villa with the beautiful garden at the back. The room was spacious and had a fully equipped kitchen if you wanted to cook. The balcony was also really spacious and was excellent to sit out on at night. Mary's food was great and she was happy to accommodate us being vegetarian, we loved the breakfasts every morning and it was the best way to start our day. Mary went out of her way to make our stay feel more personal and recommended the tastiest restaurants and bars which we tried every one of and loved. Can't recommend Sun Maris enough, Mary thank you so much.

A minor issue, which did not affect our overall enjoyment, was the shower. The shower tray was small, the controls stuck out a long way and the shower was enclosed with a lightweight shower curtain. The result was, it didn't matter what you did, the shower curtain wrapped itself around you.

Mary (the owner/manager) was very warm and friendly and offered lots of help and advice so we could get the most out of our holiday. The pool was beautiful and relaxing. The bar service was excellent. The food, though simple, was excellent quality. Everything was spotlessly clean.

Perfect stay at Sun Maris! The hotel is very clean and perfectly located, close to everything in Faliraki. There is a very nice swimming pool with enough sunbeds. And Mary, the host is really fantastic! She's a very friendly and warm person and she does everything to make your stay perfect. We can definitely recommend Sun Maris.
