Stenosa is the perfect place to enjoy your holidays in Donoussa. The location is beautiful and very well kept and has all the comfort with a very relaxed atmosphere. We have nothing to complain about, everything was just as described. While the internet connection inside our room wasn’t the strongest, it didn’t bother us at all as the stunning view and thoughtfully curated décor more than made up for it, leaving us wishing we could have stayed a little longer.

The room matched the photos perfectly, very clean and cozy. The bathroom was spotless, and the overall atmosphere brought back memories of my mum’s childhood home. There was always plenty of hot water with excellent water pressure. A lovely bonus was that the host is a winemaker, offering a great selection of wines at reasonable prices. The view was absolutely breathtaking. We loved every moment of our stay.

Dimitris and Dionysia are exceptional hosts. The location is perfect. Everything you’ll need is on a walking distance: the port, Stavros beach, Kedros beach, restaurants, cafes, bars, mini market, bakery, local transportation. The facilities are unique with a lot of handmade and traditional-antique elements. The view from the property is simply amazing and the property is spotless clean. Highly recommended it!!

It was not a matter of not liking or complaining but if they changed towels daily instead of every three days, this would be the absolutely perfect accommodation on this island. Also there are not so many rooms, so unless you book in advance not easy to find accommodation.

They did not serve breakfast but they had the facilities to make your own breakfast if you wanted to. Both Dimitris and Dionysia made you feel like home, they were very friendly and always ready to attend to any enquiries about the accommodation and the island. Stenosa is strongly recommended!

We spent 9 carefree days in the Yfadi room. The room is spacious, spotlessly clean, and has a large, comfortable bathroom. The entire property is built with care and attention to every detail. We chose this particular room for its unique character. The old loom and sewing machine, belonging to the owner's past grandma, add a nostalgic, authentic touch that transports you to another era. It's a family-run business, and that shows in everything—from the care put into the space to the kindness and hospitality of its people. One of the most beautiful accommodation options in Donoussa. Dionysia and Dimitris, we will definitely see you again!

The only downside is that there is no internet connection in the rooms but then that might b ea good reason for a. detox. There is a good wi-fi connection in the communal areas though.

Its the second time we visit the property and as the first time we loved it! Dimitris and Dionusia have created their own little paradise and we feel lucky they are sharing it with us. The place is chic heaven right in the middle of everything you need in the island but at the same time is super quiet! Strongly recommend if you are looking for a quite and relaxing holiday.

Dionysia and Dimitris created a beautiful home for the traveler looking for a remote paradise. Every comfort is provided and usually handcrafted with care and love, from supplies in the room to the decorations and interiors. Privacy and quiet are a priority, with each room a separate building. The shared outdoor kitchen allows for a more communal breakfast or snack, in the spirit of the island. Every room offers a sea view, an excellent large bed, fridge and AC, facilities, decoration, an outdoor lounging/sitting space, and everything else you'd wish for. I've never felt as safe and comfortable while away and I was absolutely blown away by the love that the hosts put into the care for their space and their guests.

What can I say!!? We have traveled the world (many times), this became a favorite place within minutes! Great location close to the beach(es) and the town, a fantastic room design and outdoors design that shows the artistic eye of the owners and a service level at the best of what Greece can offer (and we love Greece hospitality!). WiFi and signal in the room is weak, but fine outside. It was not a problem for us as we were there to chill.

What a wonderful place to stay. It was quiet, comfy and clean. It has a unique vibe and decoration in harmonisation with the simplicity of Donousa. Hosts were more than we could have asked, kind and friendly and going above and beyond to ensure that our stay was perfect. They love the island and this shines through in how they run the accommodation. It was totally unique, and we will definitely be coming back.

Stenosa is a very beautiful guest house. We booked two rooms and both were very clean and big. All the furniture was in very authentic Greek styke. Very nice and liveble also the garden and the common kitchen. The owners, Dimitri and Dionissa, were very friendly and help us for everything we need. Stenosa is very close to a beautiful beach that lead you to the port/village in less than 5 minutes.

This is the third time I haves stayed at Stenosa, although I have stayed in other great places on Donoussa, I don’t think I’ll ever not stay there! The hosts are the most wonderful people and make me feel so welcome. The rooms are exceptional, as is the whole place. The eye for detail, the beautiful things in and around the room, it’s exceptionally clean, quiet and totally relaxing.

The best accommodation I have stayed in during my many years of summer holidays in Greece. Our room, which was large and very nice, had two terraces, one in front, from which you could see the sea, the sunset and a quintessentially Greek landscape, and one on the roof, from which you could admire the starry sky at night. There is a very nice outdoor kitchen with a large table and a coffee machine for guests to use. The location is perfect: less than five minutes walk from the town centre and a quarter of an hour's walk from Livadi beach. The bus that circumnavigates the island stops just behind the hotel. The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. They picked us up at the port on the day we arrived and drove us back the day we left. I highly recommend this place. You'll love it.

Donousa is truly one of the hidden paradise islands in the Aegean, perfect for those who prefer less touristy spots. But what's truly special is that after our stay, we found ourselves wanting to return to the island just to stay at Stenosa again! Our experience at Stenosa was nothing short of amazing. The accommodations are charming, with traditional-style houses that are both aesthetically pleasing and impeccably clean. We were immediately struck by the delightful smell of the room and the fresh towels. Dimitris and Dionisia are fantastic hosts who have clearly poured their hearts into transforming this place into a small paradise. The location is ideal—right next to the port and one of the most beautiful beaches on the island with breathtaking views of the sea to wake up to each morning. Stenosa has everything you could need including a traditional outdoor cooking area (mageirio), where you can enjoy a nice and cozy breakfast/ dinner with sick views or simply relax. Dimitris and Dionisia were also incredibly helpful and even met us at the port, despite our ferry being delayed and arriving at 4 a.m. I can't say enough good things about Stenosa. Trust me—if you book a stay here, you won’t regret it!

The property is at walking distance from "Hora" (the main port), yet very quiet as there's practically no car or motorcycle traffic. Gorgeous beaches ideal for morning swims are only minutes away on foot and colourful sunset views towards the island of Naxos are guaranteed from the common area terrace.
