We joined the Greek Night at one of the à la carte restaurants. While the music and dancing were nice, as a family familiar with Greek cuisine we really didn’t enjoy the food. Considering the high price, it was disappointing that the quality was so poor. I reduced my rating by 1 point only because of this. Due to this bad experience, we didn’t try the other à la carte restaurants. On the other hand, the dinners included in the half-board restaurant were very good and more than sufficient for us.

The hotel is not very big, which made our stay very comfortable and easy. The sea was beautiful, with a small but sufficient sandy beach, and thanks to the sheltered bay even on windy days our child could swim safely. It was also great for snorkeling and watching the fish. We didn’t use the pools much since the sea was so nice, but there are two seawater pools of decent size, which is a nice feature. The staff were professional and very helpful, and both breakfast and dinner were very good. The location is also convenient, close to Agios Nikolaos, where we went in the evenings. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose this hotel again if we come back to Crete.

A very aesthetic complex with comfortable spacious suite. Staff very accommodating, welcoming and well trained. Very plentiful breakfast buffet displayed very nicely. Spacious pool and sea areas.

The resort was absolutely beautiful 😍. It was apparently fully booked but one could not tell as it was so quiet. The gardens and the view of the bay were outstanding. Breakfast in an arbour overlooking the bay was just perfect 👌. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

The resort is outstanding, beautifully designed. It is spacious but not crowded. The view from most of the points is spectacular and the food was fantastic.

A little bit too far from town, you could walk it but in the evening the roads were dark and didn't always feel safe with traffic.

Only 3 small drawers for the two of us in the room. Plenty of hanging space though. The options and food at the Beach restaurant was a bit mediocre and I would have loved a variety of different ice creams to be available (they had vanilla, chocolate or strawberry only) at both lunch and dinner restaurants. Our room had room darkening curtains but they weren't black out and the slatted shutters only covered half of the windows.

The wonderful view. The breakfast was in a beautiful location with plenty of seating options, either in or out the shade or indoors. The buffet spread was very good including gluten free and lactose free options. The staff were lovely. The food for the evening meal was also very good with a wide range of starters and desserts and a choice of 4 menu options for the main course. The hotel and all the facilities were kept scrupulously clean and tidy. So often in a hot climate we are bothered by wasps and flies but there were none anywhere. The pool area was beautiful with plenty of sunbeds even when the hotel wasa full and it was nice to have different sunbathing options all around the beach and promontory which gave shade and a welcome breeze. The air conditioning worked really well and the bathrooms/bedrooms were very clean.

You need to get a taxi/car to visit other sites (this didn't bother us but if you want to travel around a lot it's something to be aware of). Also the resort itself is paved, so anyone with mobility issues might have trouble unless you are able to get in the golf buggies that are on offer. Lots of steps too to get to the beach and pool.

Everything exceeded expectations. The staff were friendly but not overbearing, the food was excellent (half board and a la carte). The private beach was lovely, and best of all, the resort was not overbooked so it was possible to find quiet, shady spots around the place. The spa offers a great massage experience as well. Any issues we had during the stay were addressed the same day with no fuss. We will be back!

The hot food options in the "half-board" restaurant were very basic. Didn't try the other restaurants on site as we decided to explore other restaurants nearby. The service from the restaurant staff at breakfast was just ok. It was getting towards the end of the season and it really felt like it. The service lacked warmth and attentiveness on some days which was very disappointing for a hotel like this..

Hotel grounds including the private beach were fantastic and well maintained. Really beautiful views of the ocean. Our room was clean and comfortable with a balcony to enjoy the views.

Didn't like the salty pool

The restaurants were lovely, food very tasty, especially the a la carte, breakfast sitting under the trees looking at the view was amazing, so nice to have the complete selection of lovely fresh food. Loved the cooked to order eggs etc. Bar service was brilliant, all the staff were so friendly. Loved the freshwater "back" pool for doing my lengths in the afternoon. The infinity pool beautiful to look at but salty so only went in once.

We had a swarm of ants unfortunately inside the room but was easily fixed. Likewise, there was a plumbing issue in one of two showers in the room which resulted in a flood that was quite messy and intrusive. Housekeeping responded immediately and the entire apartment was well cleaned afterwards..

The property is meticulous and well situated on a stunning bay with an infinity pool strategically located and dozens of lounge chairs available on different levels along the rocky coast. Rooms are well placed to give easy views and our suite was spacious and comfortable. The half board, with two other restaurant options, was great. All staff are extremely friendly and very helpful.

A few things needed "polishing" ... the second bathroom had no towels, a broken shampoo dispenser and bin, etc, no instructions for the jacuzzi. All small things, but shouldn't happen. Perhaps the biggest disappointment was the 2 balconies were sparsely furnished; a real missed opportunity. They could have been breathtaking for not significant investment, that would have been funded by the room rate.

A first class hotel, large suite that lowers your pulse as you enter it, superb taste/interior design with lots of different "hidden"/private areas to relax inside the building), breathtaking views, super-friendly staff, multiple and varied places to relax; whether 1 meter from the sea or by 1 of several pools.

Very little - it was a really great experience.

Even though it was only 5 mins away from the local town, it felt like you were truly isolated….very quiet and relaxing. The resort is exceptionally well kept and the room was better than we expected from its description on the website. However the biggest highlight was the staff - they all really took the effort to get to know you, spend time with you and chat - including the manager who was seen most days at meal times walking around and checking everyone was doing well.
