Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SlovakiaThe only downside this season was the restaurant service. The waiter seemed constantly displeased, and it often took at least half an hour before he would even approach the table. Even when I just wanted to buy something from the fridge, he was never around. I hope this can be improved, because everything else about the hotel is wonderful.
I truly enjoy this hotel — this was already my third stay here and I will definitely come back again. The staff are always kind, courteous, and welcoming, and the location is perfect for a quiet, secluded getaway.

United KingdomThey charge for the use of pool towels, 5EUR plus a 10EUR deposit. I found this to be incredibly odd, as customers from abroad don't tend to travel with their pool/beach towels. SO why charge guests for the use of these? Mad!
Breakfast was the best by far! Not only substantial as a buffet, but they also have many options available to choose from. Super tasty! Also, very close to a beautiful beach and away from all the tourist madness! Golden Sand restaurant is about 15 minutes along the beach, great price and nice food, good spot to hang out!

United KingdomThe shower could do with an overhead attachment. More hooks in the rooms would be useful generally. The food, from the resturant, is a bit hit and miss, but not terrible, but considering the area, it could have been better. The breakfast was the same each morning, but that isn't really a problem as there's a wide choice, I think.
The pool area is perfect, the rooms were comfortable, the staff were a delight. We had washing done for us, and they were so helpful about it. The breakfast was plentiful and the location is isolated, but you'll have a car, which makes it a gorgeous area to explore. Phenomenal beaches and tavernas in the area.

GreeceThe buildings and rooms seem to be similar with each other, therefore a 3-adult booking would feel squeezed due to the supplemental bed in the room that had only 2 in mind when designed. The bathroom space was a little crammed, but expected for such size of rooms. Nearly all rooms had a veranda or terrace which is nice, but depending on the building orientation, you'd get too much sun and not enjoy it except at night. Although the pool itself was nice, the umbrellas provided little shade all day, and for those sensitive to the sun it's not ideal but the restaurant tables were thankfully available and near. Shame that there weren't tall trees around to help with shade. We did not stay for dinner in the hotel restaurant, but I did not find menu prices competitive. Then again, local taverns near Kalamata weren't cheaper either. Although not the hotel's fault or issue, the "nearby" beach accessible by foot wasn't ideal (I'd say "poor") as nicer beaches require a car ride (such as the excellent Bouka beach) so don't get fooled by the satellite map: the beaches worthy of your visit are only within car-distance.
Located in a quiet, rural area (with the nearest town at 6-7km) the hotel complex was modern, spacious, clean, and with enough parking space for everyone; a car as transport is a must if one wishes to move around to places. The pool size was great, separating kids section with adults. The restaurant area for breakfast (or lunch/dinner) was also nice, with the tables and chairs outside providing a fresh air of the local countryside (luckily, there was no heatwave during our stay, so the fresh air was thoroughly enjoyed). The staff was very friendly; the breakfast itself was more than what I expected, without missing quantities near the end of the breakfast time, in the morning. For a self-declared 2-star hotel, it was more than what I anticipated.

United StatesWifi was intermittent in rooms. But outside was good. Road to Hotel was easy to miss. Especially from the west. Need better signage. No electric kettle in room. Had to get from Restaurant. Also ice from Restaurant was inconvenient.
Accommodation was good. Parking adequate. Breakfast was awesome!. Staff was available & spoke good English. Friendly & efficient. Good air-conditioning. As we reached over 90 degrees in August. Swimming pool was clean & refreshing. Late hours for Restaurant.

CyprusSome slight smell due to the closeness of the rooms, but nothing too disturbing. The location is about 30 minutes by car from Kalamata city, so a bit far, but the area is very quiet and surrounded by nature.
The hotel is beautiful and all around is green. The swimming pool was a good surprise, big and clean. Breakfast was nice and had enough options. Staff was friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

NetherlandsIt ‘s a bit isolated as a location, but with a rental car we were at a nice beach/restaurants in just minutes
Large swimming pool (and deep), very nice breakfast (truly delivering on their promise of ‘made with fresh ingredients and love’), clean rooms and friendly staff. Also nearby Kalamata airport

What a great stay! Perfect location for us as we were looking to overnight near Kalamata. We were a family of 4 so a place with a pool and a restaurant was preferable. The restaurant was perfect for dinner, poor is big and well looked after and to top it off the staff were really cool. I’d highly recommend..,

United KingdomWe had been warned there was no evening food available, and there’s nothing else nearby. It’s in an isolated spot.
Maria waited two hours in reception for us because of delays, and gave us a great welcome. Room was fine. Pool was fantastic. Drove short way to deserted beach for a swim. Owner Babis generous and kind.

United KingdomWe had a hire car and I'd think most guests would also have their own transport. Without transport the hotel might seem a bit isolated.
We were only booked in for one night to be near Kalamata airport. The date we stayed was very early in the season so the resort was very quiet & restaurant only open for breakfast. The staff were lovely & welcoming.

United KingdomThe beds were not very comfortable. Shower ok, although water pressure not very good. Could have done with more local info in Reception? I realise that the kitchen was closed for evening meals, but some kind of bar for snacks and drinks would have kept us on the site more often.
Quiet, friendly hotel with ample parking space. Beautiful swimming pool and breakfasts were good, Maid service in rooms which were very clean, Whole complex very nice with tropical plants and flowers,
