Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

Room was lovely, it was very relaxing to chill by the pool, very peaceful and calm and within walking distance from wonderful Plomari. We recommend it and would definitely stay there again

Owned and operated by a very kind family. Situated in a quiet and almost hidden place of the area. 15 minutes walk to the famous beach Agios Isidoros. Pool is great for kids and also for adults who want to refresh.

Our balcony is attached to the balcony of the next door. The road to the hotel is narrow, not ideal for inexperienced drivers

great and clean facility with full function kitchen. Air conditioning in every room. Close to Agios Isidoros beach, which is the best beach in Lesvos. they also provide 5 star hotel class service, they cleaned our room everyday while we were at the beach. Myrsini is a great host and helped us with our every request, made reservations for dinners at best restaurants in Plomari. It was a wonderful stay after all and the place is highly recommended.

it would be perfect if Mamos beer was available at the bar 😉
We had a fantastic experience during our stay in Lesbos last week. The hotel was very comfortable, clean, and well-maintained. A special thanks to Giannis, who was working at the bar and also helping with the hotel—he was incredibly kind and attentive, which made our stay even more enjoyable. He prepares delicious coctails. The hotel owners were also very friendly and welcoming. Overall, a great place to stay—we would definitely love to come back!

Only because this question has to be answered….The master bedroom bed was very creaky and bouncy which made it uncomfortable. A small amount of basic supplies would have been appreciated. Milk, coffee, jam/honey, washing powder.
The separate houses were picture perfectly gorgeous, light filled with every window letting in a lovely breeze and views, the cute spiral staircase separating the levels with one living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom downstairs, upstairs consisted of separate living room, bedroom and bathroom with a bonus roof top terrace with gorgeous views. This property is ideal for a family. Loved the large central pool with the pebble beach a few steps away. The property is faultless in its cleanliness and the ladies who run this property are the sweetest most helpful hosts you could ever find. The location is a bit remote, down a bumpy road but so worth it. Highly recommend to stay here to explore this part of the island.

Beautiful resort that we enjoyed by ourselves with friends!!!…. For 4 nights!! It was the end of the season so bookings were closed resulting in no other guests. We were able to treat this resort as our own private luxury home. Our rooms had a well-appointed kitchen, our own seating area, a bbq, good parking, and much more. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and playing music around it. The host was very friendly and was comfortable with us treating the resort as it was our own.

It was out of the main town.
The rooms and beds were great! The pool and grounds were very nice. Proximity to the best beach we saw on Lesvos was only a short walk. There is a lovely family run restaurant a short walk away.

We think that the worst things were WIFI and BEDS. Wifi signal was coming from the pool bar so it was too weak to connect. Moreover, there was no service around for mobile phones. So we had to go to the pool area when internet was vital for us. And the beds were really noisy. We could not sleep well as the old beds creaked. The beds must be renewed as soon as possible and there must wifi routers everywhere. The property was very close to the sea but it was not possible to swim in that sea so we had to go to nearest beaches by car.
Communication before arrival was efficient. We were welcomed by kind staff. The house was really nice and cute. The balcony and the open terrace was excellent for breakfast and dinner. I'd like to come again. There are two private bathrooms in the rooms of the apartment which made us really happy. Because we were 4 adults and 2 kids. There was a large car park area next the property. As the streets were too narrow, the car park was a life saver.
