Our stay was wonderful! The apartment was very spacious, well equipped and cleaned daily. The location is close to Oia - for younger people the short walk uphill is not a problem 🙂 The host is AMAZING - very hospitable, helpful and always available. She helped us organize activities, recommended great restaurants and even arranged a rental car so we could explore the island. We truly enjoyed our stay and if we ever come back to Santorini, we will definitely choose Santopaz again 💕

Nothing particularly. The property would benefit from at least another sun bed on the patio (especially with the property accommodating 4 people), a chopping board & sharp knives, & perhaps a microwave. We particularly enjoyed using the toastie machine for simple snacks.

We had a lovely stay at Azur, Santopaz Suites. The property was extremely spacious, clean, modern, private and peaceful. We liked the location but you will definitely need a car, quad or moped, as the property is located at the bottom of a steep hill & the nearest shop is up said hill. The roads are not really suitable for walking. However, we did know this prior to booking. We sadly left our driving licences at home, so had to use a lot of taxis which were expensive. The outside private areas including the lovely pool are an added bonus. The view from the pool & upstairs bedroom/balcony are stunning. The staff at the property are helpful & aim to keep your property clean with fresh towels every day.

Just be aware that the walk into Oia is uphill and steep. We found this walk fine but it would be difficult for people with mobility issues. With a car it is easy to get to Oia!

This is such a beautiful property, stunning interiors, every room has a pool and sea view. The shower was incredible and the host was so accommodating when our ferry was cancelled and we were able to stay an extra night. We stayed in both the Lava room and the Opal room and both were lovely. It’s 30 minute walk to Oia, or 5 minutes by taxi/quad. We loved everything!!

We spent 4 nights in the Ruby suite. The manager gave us a very warm welcome and was extremely kind. You can order breakfast or brunch which is delivered directly to your room, and delicious. The terrace, the room, the private pool, everything was perfect. The suite is tastefully decorated and truly splendid. We even had a small kitchen so we could eat directly in the accommodation. The suites are close to Oia (11 minutes on foot), and the nearest beaches (15 minutes on foot). We had an excellent stay.

Honestly there wasn’t really anything to dislike. The only thing we’d say about the Ruby Suite specifically was that you’re in full view of passing vehicles on the road which doesn’t leave much privacy however it’s a minor issue and if you’re spending most of your time enjoying activities away from your hotel such as the beach, exploring the island, boat trips etc then it really doesn’t matter.

The location of the property overlooking the Santorini coast was amazing. Santopaz is a 5 minute drive and 20 minute walk from the centre of Oia, which has stunning views and great restaurants. We stayed in the Ruby Suit which had incredible views of the sunset in the evenings; it was very clean, lovely bathroom, small kitchen area, super comfy bed and most importantly…good air conditioning! Alina at reception was THE best. Incredibly welcoming and super helpful. She did everything from organising our boat trip and quad bike hire, giving us great restaurant recommendations as well as takeout options and even telling us which overpriced places to avoid. She was always on hand to help with anything we needed!

The location is a bit further from the main areas, as anticipated, but the two of us made the 30 minute walk into Oia multiple times (just know there’s some elevation!) and we also got meals in Finikia, which was only 15 or so away - followed Alina’s restaurant recommendations there. Overall, it wasn’t too difficult to get around at all, as Alina helped us coordinate an ATV rental and transportation when necessary. The hotel is right next to the Domaine Sigalas winery, which we weren’t able to visit, so book that prior to your arrival!

We absolutely loved the Santopaz property; the accommodations we had booked was the Ruby room, which was spacious and incredibly clean, with a lovely plunge pool and patio overlooking the vineyards. It was pleasantly quiet and beautiful, and Alina was fantastic with guiding us towards the right restaurants, activities, and bookings (for boat tour, winery, ATV, etc). The bed was very comfortable, and the room itself was modern and well situated. Although they were other guests at the property, we barely saw them and experienced an oasis of peace that you can’t get anywhere else in Santorini! We felt right at home and will definitely be returning :)

No facilities. No water daily even though there are no shops in walking distance. No kitchen / option to have breakfast there or order drinks. The walk from the room to the cars is up a steep stone walkway through the garden so not ideal for women in their dress shoes

Modern and clean room. The host / receptionist was lovely! Vey helpful with suggestions and greeted us with great energy and made us feel very welcome.
