Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

BulgariaNot properly cleaned apartment. Stains all over the bathroom walls. They apparently have a policy that even if you miss a meal because of a flight or excursion, they can’t prepare a meal for you to take.
The location was good. Quiet place.

United KingdomMore tables for breakfast everyone goes at 8am and they struggle for space.
Was clean, good size rooms that were close to the food and pool, as we had a small family. Air con was good in the rooms ! Breakfast was good, included meats, cheese, breads, jams, fruit yoghurt, hot food as well- eggs, beans mushrooms. Tea, coffee and juices on offer. Pool area was clean. The music at the bar didn’t go on too late, the other customers were fun and friendly. The restaurant next door was also fantastic food with a discount from the hotel. Was a good standard 3 star hotel, we were very pleased with it and would return.

NetherlandsBeds were really hard, behind the hotel there is a sort of dumping field, not a very nice view to watch, breakfast was ok but not perfect, airconditioning is not working optimal. For the money you pay it is worth it but not going here again.
Nice swimmingpool.

United KingdomTaking our passports off of us was a bit strange but probably normal? Also Decor is dated and there was live ants on single bed when we arrived but didn’t affect us as we used the double.
Was a quick stop hotel before we moved to the main hotel we were staying at, turned up at midnight and for £30 for the night you can’t complain seeing as we got breakfast included in the price

FinlandThe living quarters were untidy and needed updating. Bad bed. The floor drains in the showers were blocked and the drains smelled in the rooms. On the last night, we couldn't get hot water for the shower. The cleaner knocked on the door very early in the morning.
The staff was friendly and the location was good. Pool area ok.

Abkhazia, GeorgiaThe breakfasts and evening meals were adequate but could be improved. Very repetitive and not of good quality, but acceptable for a cheap 3 star hotel. The hotel and rooms would benefit from a deep clean.
Friendly staff. Very relaxed and informal. Spacious room. Good location with regular buses into the old city which is only 6km away. Regular buses direct to Lindos. Bedding and towels changed regularly.

IsraelThe room we stayed in is old and needs renovation. The mattress was hard and uncomfortable. There was a bad smell coming from the bathroom. The door's handle wasn't connected properly and kept falling.
The staff was nice. The food has a nice variety. The pool is clean and welcoming. The hotel is close to everything you need. The room got cleaned daily.

LithuaniaThe drinks were not included in the dinner, only water. The shower is very old, not clean enough, a lot of ants everywhere, the shower’s door did not close, the fridge was broken, leaking water, nobody fixed it after being informed, we found the towel next to it and that’s it. We could not open the window of the room.
Very good location, a lot of parking, nice and different food of the dinner.

United KingdomAdvertised as free wifi: this didn’t work so they gave us free ‘paid’ passwords, but if you didn’t use them for 5 minutes, it would log you out ! The room was TINY and dark. Exposed electrics.
The pool was nice, not busy and people didn’t reserve sun beds.

SloveniaOn the higher floors, the air conditioning should be on all day, as the rooms are very poorly insulated. This was not possible as we only got one key. When we returned to the room each day, the air conditioner took an hour to cool the room down a bit. The walls overheated during the day and radiated heat. We recommend rooms on the ground floor, they are a bit cooler. There is only one socket available in the room. We booked two rooms, standard and superior, we got both standard rooms, but they still charged us the scond room more (superior price).

IsraelThe facilities are old, it needs lots of rehabilitation. WiFi is the worst thing at the hotel, no WiFi at all in the rooms, they didn't inform me about the WiFi, in the end I asked about it and gave access only in lobby.
I liked the breakfast, it was good. The staff helped me to get a better room after a trouble with ac in the room, so I got a better room with a better ac. The pools were good. The location is great, close to the old city, 15 minutes in car

LatviaRoom cleanliness - it was serviced every day but never really cleaned properly (no issue with beds or bedding - all clean and fresh) - there was dust that just kept accumulating throughout the stay on all flat services, there is a tile floor that wasn't very clean - if you walk barefoot - your feet will get dirty. Bathroom wasn't very clean either. And there were tiny ants in our room that we learned to ignore as they are harmless, but they did occasionally get in the beds as well. Tv doesn't really work properly - signal is weak and same with wifi - we gave up as we luckilly had a generous roaming package for mobile data.
Location is perfect, staff are all very welcoming and kind. Decent size swimming pool that is clean and plenty of sunbeds. Breakfast is ok - of course products are on the cheaper side as it usually is in these types of hotels, but still decent and everyone will find something for them. The hotel has an adjacent pool bar, small shop where you can get all the necessities, but the best is the Caldera taverna - don't think of it as a hotel restaurant that tend to be overpriced and not that good - this is a really good taverna - amazing traditional food, great atmosphere and staff. Location wise - you can wallk to the beach in 3 min - be aware in this location it's for a swim only as it's adjacent to several hotels with their sunbeds. Still you can enjoy a swim and there are watersports available as well. There are several other good reataurants within a 5min walk of the hotel - all pretty decent. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel and you can be in Rodos town withing about 15min. There is also a great car rental (international) right accross the street - no fuss attintude, good prices, no credit card needed. It is a budget hotel, you get what you pay for but it's perfectly adequate for a budget holiday.

United KingdomThe pool bar area was not cleaned from the previous evening so in the morning there were lots of dirty glasses and mess left on the tables The air con unit is positioned in an less than ideal place above the door so the circulating air did not reach the beds so was very hot if a night The bracket that the shower head sits in broke when moved a fraction so we had to shower holding the head
Good value for money, good location with good bus service, the breakfast included had good variety Staff are very friendly and helpful The restaurant next to the hotel (Calabrese) is absolutely fantastic, food amazing!!!

GermanyThe bathroom is small and cleanliness is debatable . The kitchenette had a little refrigerator that collected ice in the freezer and leaked water on the bottom.
Great breakfast, and this is not a continental breakfast, it's rather an open buffet breakfast with good variety of choices. The room is big. The swimming pool and the garden are excellent.

United KingdomThe site wasn't really suitable for my daughter who has walking difficulties as there were a number of very steep ramps and numerous steps. We therefore had to change rooms to the main hotel which had a lift so was okay, but we had to negotiate the ramps and steps to get to the outdoor area's like swimming pool/bar etc. Additionally we feel that the outdoor area's could do with an upgrade to make it safer for everyone and a little bit more going on.
Hotel itself very well kept, breakfast very good and room quite spacious and comfortable. Staff all very friendly and helpful.

NetherlandsThe area behind the hotel looked very trashy (I am still not sure if this was a landfill or not), unfortunately you had to pass this area to get to the beach. The A/C only worked when you were in the hotel, if you were away for the whole day it was very warm in the hotel and it took some time to get cold (I do think it is also a plus since it is better for the environment to not have it on the whole day :)). The A/C was also leaking on the balcony, so the whole balcony was wet.
Breakfast and room were very nice, the staff was very kind and eager to help. the breakfast was variating a bit per day, so if you are there for long you still have some variety. The swimming pool was nice and big and enough space to sunbath. Very close to Rhodes city, not even 15 minutes by car.

United StatesWi-Fi dropped out a lot. Took two trips to reception to learn how AC worked (make sure sliding glass door is all the way closed and key is in keycard slot by door) Bed was quite firm Food was lackluster I think the buses stopped running on Oct 1, so we actually had to cab/rent a car to get anywhere which was an unexpected expense.
It was a good value. Walking distance to beach. The food was lackluster, but there were fresh fruit and veggies. A gluten free, vegetarian was able to get enough to eat. They let us use their filtered water machine to fill our bottles and called us a cab to the airport. Room was cute and as advertised. If you’re traveling for a family trip, they had a lot of stuff for kids. Staff was pleasant. AC worked great.

Czech RepublicThe hotel itself was a little worn and dated. The area was quite remote and run down with unfinished buildings and rubbish lying around. The area seems mainly dominated by all inclusive resorts. With exception of the receptionist who we found quite abrupt, the staff were friendly and helpful.
The pool was great. Clean and never too crowded. The beaches were stunning. Although, much of the space is taken by sun beds belonging to the more expensive resorts. The rooms were cleaned daily, to a high standard. We found a fantastic local restaurant nearby called Kalamari.

LithuaniaWifi is... not bad, but strange, sometimes you get strong sygnal, sometimes it disappears, or your code just stop working. Don't recommend this hotel for workation. Prices at the bars are higher even than prices in the bars nearby.
Good deal for money. Hotel offers everything you need, but not more :) Good swimming pool, but not enough sunbeds, no towels for pool. Breakfast and dinner, but quite high prices for the snacks and drinks. It is clean, condition is working fine, rooms has fridges... but shower is tiny, and the whole room already requires some minimum renovation
