Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. The bathroom is very small and very basic, but it works and its not something that can be changed given the layout of the apartment. We knew we had booked for a good price, so we expected a simple accommodation and were satisfied overall.
The apartment is simple but everything works, it even has A/C in both rooms, and was well equipped with small things that actually matter: water in the fridge on arrival, some coffee to start the next morning, shampoo, etc. The apartment is comfortable for 4 people, with normal beds for everybody (not just the usual sofa - beds in the living room as in most places). Good value for money!

With some small refinements mainly in the bathroom and a bit of more attention to cleaning it could improve and become even cosier, but it would probably position itself in a slightly higher price range.
Flora is a very good host! She is attentive and upon our arrival, which was late in the evening, we found fresh bottles of water and orange juice in the fridge and some food for basic and immediate necessities especially for breakfast. The apartment is sufficiently large and comfortable for a small family on holiday. It is located at the beginning of Kamari, 300-400 m from the beach, in the proper position for going on excursions by car and at a repaired distance from the nightlife. It is located in the lived-in and most authentic part of the small village and close to a very nice church with brilliant colors, Kantina OMNA∑ where we tasted one of the best gyros of Santorini thanks to Flora's husband advice, the sports center where our son played with local children and a large free parking point. And we especially thank Flora for her kindness and patient comprehension during of our last and long day in her apartment!!

The flat was dirty, very poor kitchen equipment, disgustingly dirty dish drainer, already used and dirty washing up sponge, no kettle, dirty coffee machine, a shower without any shower screen or even a curtain, which meant that water flowed all over the bathroom and the drain was clogged, non-working TV.....
The floor looked clean and was good quality toilet paper......

Nothing- it was perfect
Wow what a welcome. The communication from Flora was fantastic and it was so lovely to be met by Flora and her husband with cold water and fruit. We have done a lot of travelling of the islands of Greece this summer and Flora was our best and most helpful host. They spent time telling us where to eat, how to walk to beach and where shops and bakery was. They even booked us a fabulous boat trip and booked our taxi back to the airport. I wish all hosts were as helpful and friendly as them. Also the beds were super comfortable. All the other places in Greece seem to have hard beds but the beds at Rodi were the most comfortable yet. The apartment is great and it had air conditioning in both the lounge and bedroom. I would definitely recommend Rodi to everyone. Great location close to bus stops and short walk to the beach.

Flora, the host, warmly welcomed us upon arrival, even though we arrived early. She graciously allowed us to store our bags at the property while we waited for the check-in time. Flora also went above and beyond by providing us with recommendations for places to visit and activities to enjoy on the island. At the end of our stay, she assisted us in booking a taxi back to the airport. Overall, I highly recommend Rodi Apartments. The location is fantastic—close to the beach and just a 20-minute bus ride to popular attractions.

The property was in the perfect location, within a short walk to the kamari black sand beach. There were lots of shops and restaurants very very close to the apartment. The local bus stop was also very close to the apartment. All within a 5 minute walk.

Everything was perfect, Flora is the kindest host we have ever met. She welcomed us with a glass of Ouzo and gave us a lot of excellent recommendations (restaurants, excursions, etc). She even helped us book a boat trip and car rental. The appartement is great for 4-5 persons, clean and well-decorated with an amazing location in Kamari, in a quiet and charming residential area. Strongly recommend!!! See you soon Flora, and thank you again ☺️

Basic bathroom but expected with affordable rate
The host waited and was very happy to greet us even after flight delays led us to arrive only at 2:30am. Incredible service all around. Very good location at an affordable rate. Space for 5 to sleep without an issue.
