The pool could do with some shade over the water in the summer months. Otherwise all was great.

Wonderful family run hotel. Highly recommend. Exceeded our expectations. Big rooms, comfy beds, beautiful pool, amazing view and very clean. All staff so helpful and friendly. Lovely pool side bar. 8 min walk to centre of beautiful Skiathos town via path above bus stop 4 or less than 5 min down to megali ammos beach. Easy bus trip to all other beaches. We travelled as group of 8 (two families with young adults) and we really want to return.

I cannot fault the Hotel Rene, the staff are amazing, drinks are a good price, food by the pool was nice and location amazing with unbelievable views. We were 3 friends staying in a room and was worried the 3rd bed would be a sofa bed and uncomfortable but it wasn’t, they bought in another single bed which was super comfy and the room was spacious enough for the 3 of us. The walk to and from Skiathos main strip is about a 10minute walk and is uphill on the way home but we didn’t mind this at all, especially for the views we had. We went early July and never had trouble getting 3 sunbeds together and hotel didn’t seem too busy. Would definitely stay again!

We liked everything. The location was perfect. Breakfast was great. Sotos and his daugters are lovely, so helpful and nice. They explained and helped us whenever we needed advice or help. We will definitely go back again.

Lovely spacious rooms with stunning sea views. Easy access to town, with reasonably priced taxi back if you don’t want to walk. Friendly helpful staff - a really lovely stay.

The hotel is at the top of a very steep hill so not recommended for people with mobility issues.

Lovely hotel close to beach and Skiathos town. Great views from the room and pool area. Very clean in all areas.

You read it’s a two star, it’s better than that. It doesn’t have all the amenities to be a five star, but you know that before you go. Terraces are larger than balconies depends what you prefer.

Brilliant views, great room, good location. Well supplied, buy water there rather than the supermarket (similar price and saves the carrying ). Great pool. Easy walk to town and the beach. All the team are extremely helpful, smiling and happy. Good bathroom which is unusual in a lot of Greece hotels.

Has quite an adults only feel, dependent on crowd I guess but we had kids and it was very subdued/peaceful (also pool signs no jumping/diving/splashing...)

Nice pool and plentiful sunbeds. Nice bar/restaurant. Fabulous views (the uphill trek from town is worth it)

You have to be fit to walk up the hill back to the property after a night out!

Very well-kept property close to town, with great views along the south coast from my balcony. Good-sized room that was quiet at night. Nice pool area.
