How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewThe hotel is located right under the amazing rocky outcrops of Meteora. Plenty of private parking & really quiet.
The breakfast was a bit ordinary- scrambled eggs were cooked to death. Given there were only a few tenants, eggs cooked to order would’ve been tastier & less waste. The power fuse blew when more than one kitchen device was turned on.

Verified reviewThe view is to die for! We loved it so much 🥰. We will definitely choose the same accommodation if we visit Meteora again. The owner is very nice and helpful , he gave us useful information about the monasteries and local restaurants. We really recommend this accommodation if you want to experience the magic of the area. The room is very comfortable and authentic , we especially loved the floors and the ceiling. The cats are also very cute 😍.

Verified reviewAn exceptional location with incredible views and super helpful friendly owners! We booked the panoramic junior suite which had fantastic views and was super quiet and spacious. Do not hesitate to book this hotel for exploring the area - you’re away from the crowds and it’s very peaceful yet close to excellent cafes and restaurants. Easy to access walks from the doorstep or to get a head start on visiting the monasteries early in the morning.

Verified reviewSimply perfect stay! The room is large, spacious, and bright, with a beautiful garden overlooking the majestic Meteora – a breathtaking view. The king-size bed is incredibly comfortable, perfect for a real rest after a day of sightseeing. Breakfast, served on the terrace with the same stunning view, is delicious: the yogurt is truly excellent, and the sweet presence of the kittens keeping us company made the moment even more special. The owners are extremely welcoming and made us feel at home from the very first moment. Private parking is very convenient, and the location is superb, perfect for visiting the monasteries and enjoying the area. An experience worthy of a 10/10!

Verified reviewOur stay at Pyrgos Adrachti was truly special. The views from the property—especially of the towering rock formations and nearby monasteries—were absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to that scenery each morning was unforgettable. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast—fresh, delicious, and a perfect way to start the day. We also loved the sweet resident cats that added a bit of charm and character to the experience. The family who runs the property went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They helped with our bags, offered great advice on what to see and do in the area, gave us excellent dinner recommendations, and were always happy to help with anything we needed. Pyrgos Adrachti is a beautiful and peaceful place to stay while exploring Meteora—we’re so glad we chose it!
Room needed more storage space, but it was a great value!

Verified reviewLocation and the size of the rooms.
The fram ale staff at reception was extremely unfriendly.
other guests wrote : Pure hospitality..Ideal hotel with wonderful hosts in a small village with good tavernas and excellent food, right next to the Meteora monasteries. If you want to go to the next larger village, it is about a 30-40 minute walk with a great panorama. Very clean rooms (we also had a balcony facing the mountains). The hotel owners are happy to help with booking sightseeing tours. We did an e-bike tour in the evening and a lunch tour. A good breakfast for a good start to the day. We wish everyone who stays here a similarly good experience.

Verified reviewThe hotel is very clean, quiet and similar to a lodge with lots of stained wood and private porches with mountain views. We were surprised to find the best television channels and wifi we experienced in Northern Greece. Although located in a scenic area on a quiet street, this hotel is near downtown, and close enough to walk to several restaurants and even a local pharmacy. The owners were very helpful and gracious to help us with tips and suggestions for sights and restaurants in the local area.
No complaints as an excellent value.

Verified reviewThis place is simply amazing. Words can't do it justice. The staff/owner was friendly and very accommodating. The breakfast was fresh, Greek Mediterranean. The location was superb only 10 =15 minute ride to the Monestaries. Great view. Also close to restaurants. If ever back in the area, I wouldn't even consider another place. Pyrgos Adrachti has it all! P.S. I highly recommend the Junior Suite.
