Location was exactly what we expected from this small, but beautifully placed village. Our spacious room had a delightful view of the bay, being right on the waterfront. Very peaceful in late November but probably peaceful most of the year round. Ideal location for exploring the southern cape and the incredible tower villages of the Deep Mani.

Friendly owner. It was great staying in one of the tower renovated homes . Spectacular scenery in Gerolimenas by the sea. A staff member Sati helped us with our luggage going upstairs as we stayed in the attic. He was lovely. We were also offered free water on arrival and departure. Free breakfast between 8 and 10am. 12pm checkout time. We could leave our bags after checkout for safekeeping in the afternoon before catching the bus back.

    - We had the cheapest room which was very nice but not much light as the windows were small (but this is linked to the type of building).

    - Nice building which is characteristic of the architecture in the area. It makes you feel as if you are living in a building which is traditional to the area. - great location - large rooms with comfortable bed. - Towels provided for the beach - Breakfast included and generous portions - Friendly staff - drying rack available - excellent access to the beach

Room was very small and dark, we upgraded to a better room which was also small with tiny bathroom which wasn’t very clean. Only location in our 12 days cycling in Greece that charged us to charge our electric bikes.

Location was perfect, right at the beach. Outside looked good and restaurant on the premises

    Small room with tiny windows

Nice hotel with free breakfast. Right on the beach If you choose the attic room it's quite small with low ceilings. Let the water run for a while to let the shower get warm. Need to be able to climb stairs

Difficult to find in the village as uses a different name” Gerolimenas Hotel” or Akrogiali Restaurant. Also having to ask for basics like a kettle and an extra pillow / having to make the bed before sleeping in it!

traditional property in a setting which is beautiful and convenient for visitors to the deep Mani area.

The worst thing was the bathroom, tiny, poky old fashioned sort of bath/shower - with a filthy mouldy shower curtain (see photo). The floor flooded with water that came up through a drain in the floor. Awful. The room was much smaller than anticipated, and the beds had the thinnest, hardest mattresses I have ever slept on. The so-called 'sea view' was blocked by the huge grey umbrellas that went up outside every morning to night. Terrible 'music' from the adjacent bar went on all day and until late at night. There was no Wi-Fi service in my room. The air conditioning didn't work. There was also a disturbingly loud hum from a fuse box on the wall which kept me awake at night. Security was also poor. The door into the hotel was not locked and the room locks were flimsy. There was no safe. This place is run down and desperately meeds investment to bring it up to modern standards.

    Staff lovely. Breakfast ok.

The property is stunning and quaint. You also can’t get a better location than this hotel. The room size was fine we had a twin room overlooking the sea. I do agree with other comments that the beds are a bit hard but it didn’t bother me. It could be quite noisy too until the early hours as the bars etc are right outside your window. Again didn’t bother me but kept my friend up. Yannis and his family are lovely, welcoming and went out of their way to accommodate my friend who is vegan for breakfast. It is a truly lovely quirky place and I would stay again
