We shared the pool with a campsite managed by the same property. Some days there were 30-50 adolescents crammed into the pool. The pool was clean but with so many adolescents, they left a lot of hair floating in the water. On some days there were less adolescents, so we could enjoy the pool.

Great location only 7 minutes from the beach. Nice room with private bathroom. Room was on 1st floor so we had a sea view. Staff was very helpful. We especially appreciated Yosef and his efforts to make our stay pleasant. When we arrived there was no stove in the kitchenette. Yosef brought us a new one! It was great!

The manager was extremely helpful and kind. My daughter was staying on her own and she was well looked after. The site was very safe. The A/C was a bit tricky to work but someone was sent immediately to help and explain.

I stayed at this hotel and was very disappointed with the experience. The room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, including the curtains, mattress, and overall air. Even after a night's sleep, my clothes and body smelled like smoke. It was extremely unpleasant. I raised the issue with the manager, who said he would check if another room was available. Unfortunately, I never heard back or received any follow-up. Breakfast was very basic, and worse, most of the available food was covered in flies, which made it unappetizing and unhygienic. At €160 per night, I expected much better cleanliness, service, and overall quality. Definitely not worth the price.

Feels like the staff have never stepped into another hotel in their lives and have no reference. Breakfast is below average, you can do without it. They could have provided a basic text/guide on how to get to the hotel, like other hosts who care about their guests would.

Availability of hot water and flush system overrunning

Had a great time at Plaka Hotel. The property is extremely clean and quaint run by an extremely helpful host. The location would have to be the highlight. Ideal if you are looking for a place to chill and recharge. Extremely beautiful beach and cute tavern at a 2 minute walk. The host also helped us connect with day trips and drop off vehicles. Will 10/10 recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at Plaka Hotel! The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Although the room wasn’t very large, it was thoughtfully designed, functional, and well-organized. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The location is ideal—just a five-minute walk to the beach. Don’t be discouraged by any negative reviews; for the price, this hotel offers outstanding value.

Honestly, the communication with the staff and the owner was awful. We asked two times to not have our room cleaned, as our things were organized in a way we didn’t wanted to be changed, and they didn’t listened to us. We came back to all of our stuff on top of our suitcases, everything moved from places. The next day when we complained about that and asked again that we didn’t wanted room service they asked us why and didn’t even apologize. For the same price you can get better places in plaka near the beach.

I loved Naxos and staying in Plaka instead of the main city was the best decision, we rented a car to move around the island and visit the villages.

This was my second time staying here, and I’m already planning the third. The rooms are comfortable and simple, but that’s all you need when you’re surrounded by such beauty. What keeps bringing me back is the atmosphere—it’s quiet, welcoming, and genuinely peaceful. The owners are some of the kindest people I’ve met, always happy to help without being intrusive. It’s rare these days to find places that still offer this kind of sincerity.
