Honestly, there wasn’t anything I didn’t like about the hotel. The only small personal note is that the shower felt a bit smaller than I would have liked, but that’s just my preference.

The location of the hotel, gives you the feeling of the right mood. Large amount of parking. The whole place was totally as clean as you want it. The breakfast was plenty and the stuff were friendly and welcome, willing to support you in any case or any issue.

The place is so well built so we were surprised to be kept up by a neighboured guest who were quiet loud till quiet late.

It was exactly what we hoped for- a beautiful classic ‘chalet’ feel. Staff were so lovely, breakfast was ample, recommendations to local restaurants was perfect. The view- unbeatable!

If I need to find something to improve as a suggestion to the hotel, the breakfast could have a bit more cheese and ham. But like this, it was sufficient.

We liked the room the most. Spacy, authentic, nice view, and of course the fireplace! No need to mention it was clean.

Shower cabin was small, not super comfortable for a tall person. We could hear the television from the room next to us (but maybe they had turned the volume really loud)

The room was really pretty! Some of the highlights for us: its traditional decoration, fireplace and the view to the pine trees and the nearby mountains from our windows. Although outside was chilly, in our room we were warm and slept comfortably. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet downstairs and the view from the dining room was breathtaking. It was easy to park outside the hotel and the gardens were really nice as well!

The view of this hotel is amazing, in a secluded location, away from noise. Beautiful view of the mountains and beer by villages. The rooms were very cosy and the staff were very helpful.

Minor stuff - No real use for the 2-story room - the upper floor has no use, No view from our particular room, The TV placement was not comfortable to watch

The room was not exactly what we were expecting. There were two beds but actually the one on the top floor was not for sleeping, perhaps only for decoration purposes. It was not made, there were no sheets and a bad quality mattress. Also, there were no toiletries in the bathroom. But other than that it was a great room.

Beautiful place built with rock on a hill with an amazing view of Trikala. When it was time for breakfast we realized that there was a variety to choose from and everything was fresh and delicious. Moreover, the staff were very polite and helpful.

Loved everything

The location was superb. A lovely rustic & charming getaway from the heat of the coast. The staff were warm & welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were large & clean with outstanding views from the balcony! The beds were extremely comfortable & there was plenty of hot water. A lovely breakfast was included and it was plentiful enough to set us up for the day. Again, the welcome made it special

I have not visited this area of Greece before this was a wonderful "discovery". I had no idea there was an environment like the Alps, above Corinth. I am picky and I was amazed at the decor of the hotel, every aspect of the design of the rooms, all unique, and of the whole hotel was so pleasing and furnished with many antique pieces. An old world style hotel with all the modern conveniences. The staff were helpful and caring. The breakfast buffet, very good. (coffee could have been hotter, but they brought me a hot coffee when I mentioned it!) I needed to change the room assignment as my legs were hurting and could not easily climb the stairs to the loft bed. Not a problem. Excellent recommendation for a restaurant which was a 5 minute drive away. I will make plans to return. Thank you for a wonderful stay, even if it was just one night, it was so enjoyable and so economical, 5 star at such a reasonable price.

I took the time to read some older negative reviews, and they are all liars! Goes to show that when people are nasty, Karens that don't get their way will find something to complain about. Like that lady that said she came late back and couldn't get in. The fact that she's technologically challenged is not the hotel staff's fault. There is a keypad installed that you tap your room key to enter. Or that other guy who demanded the staff wake up in the middle of the night, past 10 p.m., to get him firewood. Be real, dude. They aren't servants. You could have asked for extra in the morning, and they would have brought that to your room. They came by mind before they went home to ask if I needed anything and what to bring me. There was not a single thing I asked at a reasonable time, while being polite, I didn't get it! The room was like it came out of a fairytale page. I initially booked a double room and was upgraded to a room that fit 4 people. The stuff was amazing, helped me with my every need, provided tips for the area, offered me coffee once I arrived. There is not a single bad thing I can find about this hotel and the people who own and run it. I needed a taxi ride from Ksylokastro to the hotel, and they found me a great driver. They took my laguege upstairs without me even asking. I arrived early and had no problem waiting, since I knowingly booked an early train. They immediately checked if the room was ready and checked me in. I had a small accident with the boards holding up the mattress, and they immediately fixed it for me. One of my days, I slept in and missed breakfast, and they came to check up on me and see if I'm doing okay. If you think I have special treatment at no extra cost, you'd be correct. But I must say that a little kindness goes a long way!
