IrelandIt takes a day to get used to the cicadas sound, it was our first experience in Greece, so they were the alarm at 6:30 in the morning. Breakfast wasn't great. It should be much better for a modern hotel like that. For example, eggs were always cold, and there weren't many choices. Free coffee was probably one of the worst I had. We had to order coffee from the bar, which is charged extra. Also, slight annoyance is that you can only use the pool outside of the room between 10am and 7pm, which I understand that people need to get some sleep, but 7pm feels too early.
Staff were amazing. Very positive and helpful. The room was great, clean, and comfortable. The pool outside of the room is such a great feature. The location is very close to a couple of beaches and to plenty of restaurants.

I’ve stayed in around 10 different hotels here over the years, and nothing comes close to the level of comfort and quality Phos offers. I’ve known this hotel since before it officially opened, and I’m still impressed every time I visit. Everything is well thought-out, modern, and beautiful – from the rooms to the shared spaces. The staff is exceptional: warm, attentive, and always professional. The location is ideal – close to the beach, restaurants, and shops, yet peaceful and quiet. If you’re looking for a place that truly combines style, comfort, and authentic Greek hospitality, Phos is the one. I can’t recommend it enough – this is where you want to stay in Agia Marina.

MaltaThe breakfast was terrible, the coffee especially was really bad out of the coffee machine, I’ve had much better in cheaper hotels. The hot food was lacking but the cold counter was decent. Think this is included in the price so at least we didn’t pay extra for this.
Loved our swim up room and hotel itself. The main pool was gorgeous and the one outside our bedroom door was fabulous more private. The staff but especially Maria at reception her smile and kindness was out of this world. She was so welcoming and very helpful.

Israelin the mornings there is the faint sounds of a rooster as an alarm clock.... if your a light sleeper or dont use earplugs it can be a slight issue. maybe depends what side of the hotel. for us it was not a bother.
everything. nice pools and waterfall system. the rooms are big with comfortable beds. diverse breakfast. location is only 20 min from chania and a great place to visit the western attractions. we originally booked 2 nights and extended two more. there are plenty of supermarkets restaurants and bars within walking distance and so is the beach. recommend riza restaurant abit uphill but great food and view! come before sundown

This was truly one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed at! It felt more luxurious than a typical 4-star hotel in Greece. Everything was perfect, the hotel was a beautiful and relaxing oasis in the middle of everything and very close to the beach. The best thing was that we had access to the pool straight from our room’s terrace so it was very easy to dive in whenever we felt like it. The rooms were clean and modern, AC worked like a dream and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Especially the people at breakfast were super! The hotel is quite new and there weren’t that many other guests, but this was only a plus because many days we had the whole pool area to ourselves :) Highly recommend!

United Kingdom- not clean and lack of attention to detail - the bathroom wasn’t cleaned on our arrival. I could see plenty of hair in the shower and around the toilet, stains from a shower gel on the shower floor - lots of drink stains on the outside terrace - room wasn’t cleaned on few occasions even though the sign to clean the room was left outside - cleaning staff had a bit of an attitude
