Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

TurkeyThey charged for the water in the room, that was strange, we were expecting water in the room to drink when we come back late to hotel.
Fantastic view, could have been the cleanest hotel ever been!, Its not a new hotel but they really took good care of the building. Breakfast was good enough. The sea close to there is amazing! Probably the best sea in Patmos. Pool is cool and quite.

Perfect Family Stay at Patmos Paradise Hotel Our family of 14 had a fantastic experience at Patmos Paradise Hotel. Located on the scenic island of Patmos, the hotel offered stunning views and convenient access to local attractions. The rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean, and provided a comfortable retreat after exploring the island. We especially appreciated the delicious breakfast served each morning. Dimitris and the staff were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to ensure our comfort and satisfaction, making us feel truly welcomed. Patmos Paradise Hotel is highly recommended for families seeking a clean, peaceful, and memorable stay on this beautiful Greek island.

United KingdomCould have done with coffee facils in the room. Our room (105) had old AC which was ok but not the best but our friends adjoining (104) it was newer and v good.
The hotel is a little dated in terms of decor/finishes etc, but it is very well maintained and spotlessly clean which makes it rather charming in its own way. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The breakfast is simple but perfectly adequate (coffee, omelette, Yoghurt and fruit for us - but there’s a full continental and some other cooked food). Lovely pool which gets the sun all day and was always super quiet during our stay. Ample free parking (driveway is steep, as are many roads in Patmos, so try and get a decent hire car with a bit of power). But the real showstopper - the view - which really is stunning! We had a pool/sea view room which was worth it as we sat on the balcony each morning to enjoy a coffee (no coffee in room so we grabbed from breakfast). An amazing spot from which to enjoy the island, in very close proximity to a number of excellent beaches, including Kampos which is a 5 minute walk and has a couple of beach clubs and a taverna. 15 min drive from port, 20 min drive from Chora.

FranceOur only negative comment (said with affection and humor): THE MUSIC! No Greek music (which may be a plus for some people) and a penchant for Apollonian (calm- also nice) – but there is a difference between calm and soporific …. The music was a bit depressing and sleep inducing (not great at breakfast).
Patmos Paradise is a lovely 45-room hotel overlooking Kombos Bay. It's located just 10 minutes by car from the Port of Skala. The hotel is family-owned, a bit old-fashioned, but very well-maintained. It has a big swimming pool on a generous terrace overlooking the bay. You can walk down to the beach in abut 7 minutes. Kombos Beach has several beach establishments that rent sunbeds and umbrellas (10€/person for the day) and a handful of tavernas for lunch or dinner, plus beach parling and a kiosk for "beach stuff" if needed. The Establishment at the end of the beach is the most "bling" with a (not cheap) excellent restaurant. The rooms are comfortable and well-appointed, each with a nice terrace/balcony. Housekeeping is stellar and they are generous with towels. The hotel has a nice bar/snack space on the main floor, open until midnight, where you can have a light lunch (club sandwiches, salads), snack or drink. The staff is very friendly, helpful and efficient – many of the principal staff-members have been working there for a long time. When we stayed (early August) the clientele was primarily Greek, with a few French and Italian guests (and me, an American from Paris). Many guests return every year. We were VERY happy there and will certainly return. The hotel does need a bit of modernization, not for questions of comfort, per se, but to attract new, well-travelled guests in this world of fickle demanding travelers. Oh –I almost forgot: the view is incredible form the rooms, from the breakfast room, from the pool ….. you could spend the whole day just looking out at the island and the sea. A great place to stay for guests who have a car or motorbike and and want a calm place to which to return at the end of the day.

AustriaThe room was pretty basic and the TV had few mostly Greek channels. No good dinner options around
Great location in walking distance to the sandy Kambos beach. The room was clean but on the last floor, the equivalent of 3 floors to climb. The breakfast area has a supreb view but the breakfast itself is not special.
