Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AlbaniaThe breakfast was good at first, but became repetitive after a week. I would suggest offering more variety on different days. The wardrobe in the room was a bit small for a family on a one-week vacation.
The location was excellent, the staff were very good, the sea was very nice, and the food was generally good. I would recommend it for a family vacation.

Our stay at Parga Beach Resort was exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the beautiful location right on the large sandy beach, nestled within lush, beautifully maintained gardens. The architecture of the resort is both elegant and airy, blending perfectly with the natural surroundings. Everything is immaculately maintained, and the attention to detail in the design and upkeep of the grounds truly elevates the experience. The cleaning service was excellent – timely, thorough, and discreet, ensuring our room was always fresh and comfortable. Breakfast at the resort was a delicious and with high quality ingredients. The staff were outstanding – always friendly, professional, and ready to help with anything we needed. We also appreciated the entertainment options, especially the cinema night on the beach – a memorable experience. The hotel has also good facilities for kids, including multiple pools and a kids club. All in all, Parga Beach Resort delivered an amazing holiday experience. Whether you’re traveling as a couple or with family, it’s the ideal place to enjoy everything that Parga has to offer. We highly recommend it and will definitely be returning!

I hope the owner will invest in beds next year because we had body aches, there was an unpleasant smell in the room we stayed in, and I hope the tents on the beach will be replaced because they are too small, such a beautiful resort with wonderful staff and wonderful guests.
I wanted to thank the wonderful staff and a resort worth visiting for a vacation.

AlbaniaThe rooms were not well designed, with outdated furniture and facilities. The mattress was really old and uncomfortable, even after the added an extra slim mattress on top, my nights were not better. The dinner waiter tries really hard to sell you wine, beer or any extra drink that makes you pay extra. It doesn’t help to enjoy what you have already paid for.
Landscape is great, especially in the old part. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The see is quite clean and blue. The children pool was fantastic, for kids and parents. Close to Parga city enough for evening walks. The special thematic dinner nights were a very good surprise.

United KingdomThe current dinner selections, while of high quality and palatable, could benefit from greater variety. I would also appreciate an expanded selection of beers. Furthermore, I would be interested in exploring the full board option, should it be available.
The staff is consistently polite, helpful, and well-informed. The recently constructed facilities are excellent, offering numerous choices for families with children and also appealing to younger couples. The beach is truly remarkable, providing a wide array of options beyond the hotel, such as beach bars, restaurants, water sports, and convenient access to the city of Parga. Breakfast at Kokones was exceptional.

GreeceWe stayed at the hotel for seven nights in early August. Our room had a partial sea view, which was a plus, as most rooms overlook the gardens, and many are now located in a newer annex across the road, farther from the beach. The gardens themselves are beautifully kept and perfect for an evening walk. The main facilities – including two restaurants and a bar – are set along the beachfront, offering spectacular views, especially at sunset. The beach is crescent-shaped, with coarse golden sand and clear, cold waters. While busy during peak hours, it never felt overcrowded. The hotel mainly attracts families with young children, especially from Scandinavia and the UK. Our room was spacious and clean, with a small grassy area and sunbeds outside. The bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well. Hot water, however, ran out quickly, and the exterior doors lacked interior locks, which could feel a bit insecure at night. Food was the weakest aspect. The buffet (both breakfast and dinner) lacked variety and flavor. Additionally, staff were often too pushy about selling wine and drinks, both at meals and on the beach, where service could be slow despite their generally polite demeanor. Wi-Fi was also unreliable, especially near the beach, although the hotel showed willingness to address this. On the bright side, the massage service was outstanding — both therapists were highly skilled and exceeded our expectations. Free activities like swimming lessons for kids and evening beachside movie screenings were also very successful. Despite a few issues, we genuinely enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel.

AlbaniaHowever, our experience at the beach was quite disappointing. When we arrived, all the sunbeds were already taken. We informed the beach staff, expecting some assistance, but they left us waiting under the sun for 30 minutes without offering any solution. Only after raising our voices did they respond. We were told the beach opens at 8 AM the next day and that we should come early to get a front-row sunbed. We went at 8 AM, but all the sunbeds were already “reserved” with towels, even though we had been told reservations weren’t allowed. Once again, we had to insist in order to get a spot. The beach bar prices were unreasonably high, and the food quality was very poor — truly disappointing. In the evening, we tried one of the resort’s restaurants, Kokona, and unfortunately, it was a total letdown. From the beginning, the staff were unwelcoming. A waiter told us we couldn’t sit because food would take 40 minutes due to high demand, even though there were only about five occupied tables. We politely said we didn’t mind the wait and asked if we could at least have something to drink or a salad in the meantime. After some insistence, they finally seated us, and surprisingly the food came within 15 minutes. The hospitality was non-existent, and the food wasn’t worth it at all. Overall, while the location and room were good, the service at the beach and restaurant left a lot to be desired.
The location was very good. It was close to the sea. The hotel staff were very welcoming at the beginning and provided information about everything. The room was very nice and clean.
