The location was perfect for visiting the area. We arrived from Heraklion by car. Sevi was an outstanding host and we were so grateful for the conversations and local advice. The rooms are nice and spacious, with AC. It’s a few minute walk on a trail to the nearest beach, which only has a shower right now. Sevi recommended other beaches about 10-15 min away with beds, umbrellas, and tavernas. Outstanding recommendation to the mountain villages of Krista and Kroustas (must stop for lunch!)

Nothing really, the accommodation was as expected: spacious and clean, comfortable but not luxurious. We wanted something family run, a little out of town where our daughter with additional needs would feel happy and safe. As other reviewers mentioned there are steps - as it's on a hillside, and kitchenette is a little dated, but all fine. Aircon unit is in main space so you have to leave bedroom door open but this didn't really affect being able to socialise as our child isn't too light a sleeper.

The personal touch - a collection of well kept apartments around a pool run by very kind, friendly family. Makes the trip very memorable and prefer to support a local business.

This place is an absolute rare gem. The location is perfect - it’s near the town of Agios Nikolas, but at the same time secluded enough to provide a calm and peaceful stay. There is a cute little beach with a walking distance and a great restaurant nearby (taverna Olga). The apartments are spacious and cozy and well equipped. However the highlight are the owners - a mother and her two daughters who are so helpful and welcoming, you will never want to leave.

It is approx 3km from centre of Agios Nikolaos along the coast. It’s a pleasant walk or you can drive. There are a couple of tavernas very nearby for evening meals one of which we went to one night and it was good but much more choice in Agios Nikolaos itself so we tended to get a taxi in the evening (which Sevi would book) which was 7/8 Euros each way.

We would strongly recommend. Apartment was spotless and cleaned with new sheets/towels every other day. Pool area likewise. Quiet and because there aren’t that many apartments most of time we had pool to ourselves or max one other family. Sevi and her family are excellent hosts. V friendly and there is a bar area next to the pool where you can get snacks and drinks during the day and also v good breakfast (which we actually had most days). There is a v nice beach a 3 min walk away so we swam there each morning. Perfect base for exploring this area.

We couldn't ask for more! Our stay at Primavera Apartments has been just perfect: it feels like a small village, so nice and cozy, a place perfect for families with kids but without getting in the resort-like chaos. Sevi and her family are just amazing: kind welcoming and so sweet with the kids! The pool bar offers a few meal choices all handmade and prepared with love by the owners, and our kids would have eaten there all day! What else can I say... I really hope we will be able to go back again, sooner or later!

Everything we could have wanted for a perfect stay. Our apartment was comfortable, light, spacious and spotlessly clean. The pool was fabulous, a beautiful beach, taverna with sea view and handy shop all walkable. This family-run accommodation is a real gem and we received the warmest and friendliest welcome throughout our stay including super helpful language help from Sevi! Agio Nikolaos is also close - a very scenic town with many restaurants and bars and a relaxed atmosphere. Would highly recommend and would love to come back one day.

This apartment was perfect for our family holiday. The location for us was great to explore the town and different beaches with our hire car. There is a stone and sand beach practically across the road that was great for snorkelling. There is a taverna there too which did lovely fish. So you could easily stay here and not need a car. Our apartment and all the grounds at Primavera were immaculate! The apartment was cleaned daily with fresh sheets and towels very regularly. They even made the kids toys look cute on their beds! The view from the balcony was gorgeous. All the staff are so lovely, they make this place very special! Sevi and Tula especially looked after us so well! They gave the kids a little Greek lesson every day as well as great tips for where to visit. We had breakfast and lunch at the pool bar every day, it was fresh, delicious and very reasonable. The gift left in our kitchen on our wedding anniversary was very sweet too! The pool was immaculately clean, never crowded and just perfect! The whole place feels so peaceful but welcoming, even for our young kids. Everything there was lovely, we highly recommend anyone to visit and hope to return one day!

We had a fabulous stay. The apartments and shared areas are lovely. It is located close to the beach with restaurants and shops close by to walk to. It was the perfect place to relax after days out exploring the area. The pool is great and our children loved playing in it at the end of the day. The bar by the pool is great for drinks, icecreams and snacks. Sevi and her family are very helpful. We had lots of suggestions of where to go. On our first morning we had a lovely breakfast made by Sevi at the bar area by the pool, perfect after arriving late the night before. Highly recommend.

Access : lot of stairs (not for reduced mobility) ! Beds not comfortable (hard mattresses, pillows too big, the less comfortable beds amongst the 8 hotels/locations of our journey). Narrrow bathroom: the shower is awful in narrow old bath, the shower curtain stick to you.

Family hotel (nice people). spacious, quiet. Quite cheap. Clean. Swimming pool.

Very well looked after, clean apartments in very quiet surroundings. Pool was fantastic. Small snack bar offered homemade breakfast, snacks and cold drinks throughout the day. Little taverna and beach all in easy walking distance. Agios Nikolaos, Plaka and Elounda all nearby, but car essential for any excursions.

Unfortunately, during our stay it was extremely hot (38-40 °C) and despite the AC, the apartment did not really cool down so another AC in the apartment would be wonderful but other than that, there is nothing we could complain about.

Sevi was a wonderful host and she was always super friendly. Due to a delayed flight, we arrived very late (after midnight) but we were still welcomed with a smile. Our apartment was quite spacious and had a wonderful view on the sea. The pool is really superb with crystal clear and cool water. Perfect place for a family vacation.

Wonderful friendly family run apartments, fantastic people that made us so welcome and was always clean and tidy. Food and drink available in the pool bar whenever you want it. Tula, Sevi & Harris take it to the next level and made this Holiday everything we wanted it to be. Paradise it is!! and we will definitely be back. 10/10

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

We had stayed here twice previously in 1995 and 1997 so really wanted to see if it was how we remembered. It's wonderful. The rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated and equipped with the addition of air conditioning since our last visit which was very welcome. Tula, Sevi and Harris are lovely hosts. Many happy days spent chatting, eating and drinking and swimming in the perfect pool. Can't wait to go back. We won't leave it as long next time 😁

Barking dogs day and night from neighbouring properties. The night air was lovely and cool to have the windows open but had to close them due to the dog barking. Kitchen equipment was minimal but for just having breakfast was OK.

The pool and garden were really lovely. The apartment was bright and facing the garden and a view of the sea was beautiful from the balcony. Easy access by bus ride to Elaonda and half an hour walk to Agios Nicholas. Walking distance to a supermarket and restaurant.

Excellent service and very friendly. The apartment was larger than expected with magnificent views and quite private balconies. Nicely designed apartments with everything you need. The pool is a nice size and very clean. The location is super- an easy walk into town but very close to the beach and a great taverna.
