However no rooms,exept for the more expensive suites, has renovated bathrooms. The existing bathrooms, are clean but very outdated. And the shower curtain rail was broken. The was no curtain at all in some rooms. There is not enough sockets in the room,and none beside the bed! But it was expected for an older hotel. The air con was working but it was very loud. Breakfast is very basic and the same every day. Very little choice.

We're happy with overall stay, the view from the restaurant and our room was stunning. However only couple of rooms have not obstructed see view. We asked for it and we got it. The matress was pretty comfy but a bit too firm. The place is very good for snorkeling. I've seen a lot fish and even a moray just beside the hotel. The rooms are clean and the outside of the hotel looks charming. Agia Marina has much nicer beaches and clear waters compared to more dirty Aegina.

The room could have been better stocked - we were three in a room but only two mugs were provided. The bathroom is in need of a renovation with the shower curtain rod being very fragile. The breakfast was the same every day, which, while we found it okay it was monotonous for five days in a row.

Perhaps the best located hotel in all of Agia Marina within walking distance to the port, definitely the nicest views from the hotel restaurant and access to the sea - we couldn’t have asked for more from the private beach! The room itself was clean and comfortable, if a little old fashioned. The air conditioning was a major plus in the august heat! The owner was very friendly and helpful.

the facilities are old and poor. Showers are not working properly. the toilets are too small. The staff are accommodating but not welcoming. If you are not a greek and have questions, keep them to yourself as the staff will be not so patient with answering

Umbrellas and sunbeds were not only for hotel guests but also for external people who took very often sunbeds (by mean of a towel) since the night before.

The bed was a bit noisy with the slight movement. The shower curtains have a tendency to flood the bathroom if not careful.

Great location, great view. The little beach connected to the hotel restaurant is great with shade and sun beds. Breakfast was very good. The restaurant menu is limited but with reasonable prices and there are plenty of alternatives nearby. Bedrooms are simple but have everything you need.

The facilities are a little dated, however nothing worrying. American Express cards don’t appear to work, despite advertising they are accepted, we tried two and both wouldn’t work so don’t rely on that.

Great location, the views were incredible! Very good value for money considering how close you are to the beach! It was all very clean.

There are’t any facilities for drying towels and swimsuits on the balcony, after all we are o. The sea. The toilet is almost under the sink, there is no rotary fan in the bathroom.Only hangers in the wardrobe without a single shelf. There no mosquito nets and not enough sockets. Low bed with extremely old mattress with buboes.

Absolutely lovely, quiet and peaceful place, on a cliff , it is wort the money. The breakfast was very good with all you need, on the terrace above the cliff. Don’t forget to taste the octopus with onions and tomatoes. Wonderful staff, very clean. Good internet.

1.The booking.com description is misleading. 1.- only half the front facing rooms have any sea view - the large mass of the restaurant and the block of 4 rooms above the restaurant get in the way. 2. The photographs in booking.com suggest a moderately large hotel but include the Hotel Argo Spa - which has been derelict for some time and covered with large torn tarpaulins waving in the breeze 3. the buffet breakfast was basic but ok

The dining room overlooks the sea 30ft below- an incredible location- Panoramic! After persistence- we eventually had a small basic room with bathroom and a sun balcony above the restaurant with a lovely view of the harbour yachts etc Only 4 rooms above the restaurant have this fantastic view. Our initial room offered “room with sea-view” was on the ground floor of the main block and grim - with glimpses of the sea through the restaurant superstructure and diners ! I faced a hotelier who said the best rooms were booked up ahead - year after year by people from Athens. So is Booking.com able to offer any Rooms with sea view?? By peristence- we eventually got a room with sea view! - one of the few.

The shower was very basic, the shower curtain was too short and water poured onto the floor, there was no attachment for the shower head so you had to hold it over you. The bed was very hard.

The location of this hotel is amazing lovely people Breakfast setting is like a film set . just a fem minutes from a cute beach 10 minutes from some great restaurants and a few minutes further to a great beach brilliant for families as it runs off very shallow for some way.

Great location, comfortable clean room and nice breakfast. Staff were always lovely and owner Stavros was very kind, and responsive, even picking us up from the nearby ferry port. We enjoyed our 3 day stay on this very relaxed part of Aegina. In fact, everyone we met at Agia Marina from shopkeepers to wait staff were friendly.
