From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming — even the cleaners went out of their way to greet us with a smile. The Wi-Fi was excellent throughout, and the beds were very comfortable. The apartments were spotless and cleaned daily, which made our stay even more relaxing. The entire complex is beautifully maintained, with a peaceful atmosphere and great amenities. We especially appreciated the multiple washing machines and dryers available on-site. A big thank you as well for accommodating our early check-in and late check-out due to our flight times — it made a huge difference. We’d definitely love to return!

There aren't any nets against mosquitoes.

Staff was friendly, specious rooms and clean. The courtesy shower and changing room is a great facility if you have to leave late after checkout. Location was perfect, just a short walk from the beach and some nice tavernas as well a nice sunset spot. Pool is great, kids had a lot of fun. Good WiFi.

It was under a flight path close to the airport . There were a lot of planes sometimes with only 5-10 mins in between. I did not read that in any info about hotel. Could have done with a microwave as standard equipment The cleaning schedule was not clear so we were unsure when towels were being changed etc better communication needed Those with mobility issues should note there are a lot of steps around the complex some that are easy to miss. There are also some ramps which help in some places. It says the walk to the beach is 5-10 mins…. Probably accurate for most people. But there is a slight hill coming back up and no shade from the heat so it took longer

The Superior one bed apartment was lovely. Spacious, very comfortable bed, nice size terrace, little noise from adjacent apartments . Pool area was small but well maintained and there was plenty of room for sunbeds under the trees Good food from the bar if you don’t want to go out. I had a wonderful omlette

Ourania apartments are on the outskirts of a small but bustling resort town, a peaceful location with little to disturb the peace. The bar and cafe area has olive trees growing on the patio to provide shade from the sun where you can get a nice breakfast or dinner in the evening. Drinks are very reasonably priced, as is everything on Crete. Just a short walk from the local beach. Some reviews complain that the walk is a long one up a steep hill back to the hotel, in reality it’s at most a three minute walk up a very gentle slope, barely noticed. The rooms are modern and comfortable, the staff are warm and friendly. We loved our holiday there.

Exceptional clean apartment (and cleaners constantly cleaning or changing towels or bins) and great surrounding areas. Friendly staff. Great location. Bar food and drinks, great choices! Loved the laundry room and went home with a case full of clean clothes

I have been coming here for 11 years and it’s amazing as ever! The wide range of fresh food on offer, the cleanliness of apartments and grounds to the amazing friendly staff who can’t do enough for you is the reason I keep returning!! It is walking distance to the local tavernas and beach but accommodation is in a tranquil quiet place Tasos and Stella amazing as always! The new receptionist Maria was so friendly and a great smiley face to see around

There wasn’t anything that I did not like. The location involves walking up a long steep street from the beach area but that’s not a problem for anyone fit and healthy. Maybe something people with limited mobility might want to consider. But you could get a short taxi ride from the beach area for just a few euro if the inclines were a problem.

The staff are undoubtedly the stars of the show at Ourania (most especially Maria on Reception). Everybody works hard to ensure that you are enjoying your stay with them

The balcony looked straight onto another building and had no shade, so it was not a nice place to sit. The pool area was quite nice, but the pool is small and a bit crowded

Staff were friendly, apartment was spacious and it was located near the local bus stop, so you could travel to lots of places in Crete. You could also walk to local tavernas and the beach.
