Everything was wonderful!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful, and I would highly recommend this hotel. Waking up to the beautiful sea view was unforgettable, and the beds were comfortable. Although it’s located in a small town, it exceeded all our expectations. The people here are warm and welcoming, and Niko, in particular, was such a kind host. He even surprised us with Mastica liquor as a farewell gift, which was such a thoughtful gesture. I truly feel lucky to have found such a special place.

There is really nothing I didn't liked =)

The hotel is right by the seaside, so with the window open you can fall asleep to the soothing sound of the waves all night long. Everything was spotless – both the rooms and the entire hotel were kept incredibly clean. The room itself went above and beyond my expectations: a thoughtful basket with tea, coffee, chocolate croissants, and even a light breakfast option was waiting for me. On top of that, the kitchenette had everything you might need. The staff – the owner and his daughter – were wonderfully attentive and genuinely warm, always ready to help and make sure the stay was as enjoyable and memorable as possible.

It wasn’t our first stay at Ostria, and the satisfaction we felt during our first visit was once again repeated—this time with an extra bonus. We love the village of Katarraktis, and Ostria, located at the end of the village’s seafront, offers a magnificent view. The rooms are very clean and tastefully decorated, and there’s a small seawater pool that’s just the perfect size for a 7-year-old boy to jump in again and again. We will definitely be coming back :)

Our room was very clean, the view was amazing, the kitchenette and cupboards were sufficient. Suitable for families with children. It has a lovely pool. If you want to go to the center, it’s easy to reach by car. You can also swim in the sea and have a meal in Katarrakis.

The only recommendation is to provide complete cleaning every day, not only changing the towels (which by the way is a big pro, we were pleased).

The owner is very hospitable, cheerful and willing to help. Having settled in our room, we at once felt comfortable - blue-coloured design, bright colours, and the most important - the sea view balcony. Spending our evenings there, listening to the waves crushing the shore, we felt all peace and quiet. Very therapeutic and relaxing! We enjoyed our stay.

There was nothing I didn’t like about our stay.

The daily replacement of towels and bed sheets was one of the things i appreciated most something you don’t often see in many hotels. The hotel is run by a friendly family who are always ready to help with anything you need. Its beachfront location and proximity to other touristic villages make it a great choice. There are also a few wonderful restaurants in the village where the hotel is located. Additionally, we were very pleased to receive a bottle of alcohol as a gift when checking out.

We had a wonderful stay. The staff is very friendly. The housekeeping is impeccable. Nikos gave us excellent advices and information about everything we need - seesights, local food and beaches. We made beautiful memories and hope come back.

Not enough days.

Loved it so much last year, I made sure my two sisters joined me this year. Who can beat the setting-- the constant sound and sight of the sea settle a deep calm in your soul. And Nikos and his daughter Evgenia are constant sources of helpful information and problem solving. Nikos found a perfect way for us to fit in a tour between dropping off our rental car at the airport and the four hours until our flight. We can't wait to come back and explore more parts of Chios!

There is nothing specifically we didn’t like.

Sleeping by the sea with the sound of the waves is amazing! Very tranquil place and not so far from the center and the famous beaches. The owners are lovely, kind and helpful people and also serving daily snacks, instant coffee and tea in the room and a small bottle of mastic liquer during departure. Room is cleaned and towels are changed daily. Strongly advised for your short stays.

Super location with gorgeous sea view. Short stroll to the little restaurants all along the waters edge. Very peaceful village. Very helpful owners organised a taxi to collect us from the airport until we could pick up a hire care the morning after.

We had no complaints. The only note would be that there are quite a few stairs, which might be inconvenient for those who do not prefer them, but for us, it was not an issue.

We spent 12 nights at Ostria Seaside Studios and Apartments, a property located right by the sea. The location is absolutely stunning, offering a spectacular view and a very peaceful atmosphere, as it is at the end of the road with no through traffic. The studio we stayed in was very spacious, with a clean bathroom and a small kitchenette equipped with an electric stove, fridge, sink, and dishes. Although the property does not serve breakfast, we were pleasantly surprised to find a basket prepared by the hosts upon our arrival, containing butter, bread, jam, honey, instant coffee, sugar, tea, water, and croissants. Moreover, this basket was refilled daily, which was a very nice gesture from the hosts. The towels were changed daily, and the bed linen every two days, which added to our comfort. The location is very quiet, and there are several taverns about 200 meters away, perfect for exploring the local cuisine. I highly recommend this property.

The host Nikos was very helpful and greeted us with a big smile on his face. Rooms were very clean, big and homie, in the room there were basic things like coffe, jam, milk, water etc for free. The room offered basically anything you need for a nice vacation. The surrounding atmosphere was very quiet, all you could hear are the waves. The village was also very beautiful and offered various restaurants and a little market. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend it to everyone who want to have a nice vacation on Chios island!

There are two cons. 1) Curtain in the shower 2)Hairdryer. There is not curtain for shower in the bathroom. Maybe they could put hairdryer instead of filtercoffeemachine ( lt was so suprasing). Even though we could not find a chance to use the filtercoffeemachine , it was great to have it in the room ofc :) Next time, we will grab some coffee and use it.

The location is great , there are some good restaurants near the hotel. If you travel to Chois ,you will see, you are always far from something else so you need a car. Therefore, the location is good. It has a great balcony and sea view. The hospitality of owners are great, they give you an ouzo as a gift (they are really kind) when you make check-out. They don’t have breakfast but they already put too many things into room to eat for breakfast. ( butter, jam, croissant, tea, coffee and kettle etc.) The room was clean. There is a free parking lot.

Nothing the supermarket in the village is extremely basic so shop on your way so you don’t have to drive off again.
