We stayed room 324. The shower was hand held only and the tub was about baby bath size. Very difficult to negotiate a shower. Probably the worst shower I’ve ever had.

We stayed in the hotel for one night, due to the visit to the meteors. the location is good, there is free street parking. The rooms are quite good, comfortable beds... Breakfast is also good, everyone can choose something... And the pool is a real refreshment on hot days, but it closes at 8 pm and doesn't open until noon, so we only had 10 minutes of enjoyment...

The bathroom was very tight. The bed and pillows were not comfortable. There was only one chair on the balcony and no table, which made it less enjoyable. The photos did not match the room I stayed in.

Pool was SO cold - no heater and with the nights cooling off, so did the pool. Obviously not an issue for the hotel though. Pool chairs were a great spot to relax.

Only an 8 minute walk from the train station. Easy 5 minutes to centre of Kalambaka. Great view. Receptionist was so accommodating in switching our room when we didnt have the bed selection we had booked. Quick to respond for recommendations for tavernas. All around fantastic hotel

My room was atrocious. Uncomfortable bed, pillows rock hard. The fridge was stored right next to the bed in the wardrobe. The fridge didn’t fit so the wardrobe door didn’t close. Thermostat to fridge clicking on and off all night. Couldn’t sit on the toilet because the vanity was in the way. Bathroom door opening into the room. Breakfast was very poor.

Pillows hard as rocks. After reading other guests comments about the pillows and matresses I found them exagerated but no, they are not. Those pillows are hell. Breakfast was average. Same food everyday. This wouldn't be a big thing if the food was fresh. Unfortunately it wasn't.The bread was dry every single day, like it's been left în the sun for a while. The last day of my stay there was no more buffet breakfast. Maybe because we were only two guests în the hotel. We've been served the same food while sitting at the table, old omelette from the previous day obviously, warmed up a little. The surprise though was the fresh bread, like real fresh bread. Why can't that fresh bread be offered every day I wonder. The pool. The pool supposed to be great after the renovation, but surprise, it wasn't. Last year they forgot to mention the pool was under construction, this year they forgot to mention that it is actually a PUBLIC pool. Yeap, people from outside, mostly kids are coming to swim în the pool. Local kids from Kalambaka are having birthday parties by the pool. I witnessed 2 during 5 days stay. So the pool was always full and noizy, with at least 15, 20 locals, kids and adults, even though the hotel was almost empty, kids screaming and splashing all the time, having no respect for the few guests who were trying to swim or just relax. I suppose they pay good money so why would they care?! So basically allowing those outsiders to come and use the pool during opening hours is showing 0 respect towards the guests who maybe have chosen this hotel especially for the pool, like myself. The pool opens at 12, it could very well be used by locals until 12 I think. So whoever wants to book this hotel looking forward to cooling off în the lovely renovated pool, after visiting the monasteries at 35 degrees think twice!

No information about CLOSED swimming pool before arrival. We travelled with childrens and choosed this hotel becuse of outdoor swimming poll and nobody informed us about renovation at hotel . They are making pool renovation in July with 37 degrees!! Horrible ..

Pool out of action for months. Booked this hotel specifically for pool. Even filtered it in your website to pools that were open. Got there, no pool. Your customer service were rubbish, wouldn't let me change hotels. Never will I use your site again. Feel totally conned.

Front desk staff did not follow though on requests, unknowledgeable about hotel and did not offer any tourist information. Management was unresponsive. Pool View was of neglected mosquito filled swamp - nothing like their picture. Walls are paper thin, loud motorcycles allowed to park on patio below room at all hours of the night.

I appreciated the buffet style breakfast - which was available for the never ending flow of tour bus groups.

Booking.com should decide what to call & how to SOELL the name of this village is it Kalabaka or is it Kalampaka or is it Kalampaka- because the Navigator Device could not find the address and took me 10km beyond where I should have been to a village out in the sticks. surely it’s not beyond you to figure this out????Rubbish address description by booking.com as to the Hotel I was completely satisfied. breakfast Buffet was a bit sparse but for a two night stay was satisfactory. why do Hotel ALWAYS serve scrambled eggs that are COLD???! If the Sterno’s are lit under the Bain-Marie and a lid placed on top, they should remain warm. Simple basic cookery.!!
