How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.

It’s only to know this is not hotel with bars and restaurants!! Which only good 👍 to know, but most importantly!! It’s a unique experience close to everywhere but still relaxing by the amazing pool especially at sunset 🌅 times 🙂

Basically there are no wardrobes to put clothes in. Very little space where to put your things so it looked messy. Also the breakfast is very limited by the end of it you won’t want to have it there anymore.

This was unfortunate, as it was caused by trash your group created and left outside the bin, inside the kitchen closet, instead of disposing of it properly. We cleaned your suite every day, and it’s a pity you didn’t mention at the time that you felt it wasn’t clean. We always do our best to address any concerns immediately if we are made aware. There are wardrobes in the suite—open-style ones that match the room’s modern design. With five people staying, including one in the living room, it’s understandable that things might feel less organized. As for breakfast, we offer 11 different options for guests to choose from. Verified reviewThis Suite one of the best that I ever see in Creta . The area that we was leaving very clean , everything on line , private pool , also have a big one pool in area . The food for breakfast all the time come in time and fresh . If you come you will enjoy 100% the place and your privacy. Also the owner very nice and good people . The breakfast was fresh and clean, with tasty food prepared by two friendly and super nice girls. They were also kind enough to provide gluten-free options when we requested them. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. The view from the hotel was great, and the location was perfect—quiet but close to everything. Highly recommend it for a great getaway!

Verified reviewVeronique, the manager, works tirelessly to provide a fantastic service. Andrea and Luba made us feel so welcome at breakfast, which was amazing, plenty of variety, fresh and so tasty, and kept us hydrated by providing fruit whilst at the main pool area. Our suite, Serenity was stunning, the bedrooms and living areas are tastefully furnished, the balcony with private pool was a perfect relaxation area. It really is as good as it looks in photos. The main pool is a great length so you can get a proper swim, the jacuzzi is an added bonus and the daybeds are stunning. Didn't use the gym but it is well equipped. If you are looking for a place to chill with excellent service, this is the place.
Not an issue for us, as we were happy to take taxis into town, it was too hot to walk 2-3km, so a hire car may be a worthwhile option if you want to explore the area.

The air con was not working properly, we feel like this should have been sorted before we arrived We asked for a fan and they provided it for us , but in future we think any issues with room should be sorted prior to any arrivals

We would have taken care of it before your arrival if there would have been a malfunction. During your stay, remember we asked you not to turn it off? The only thing the technician did, was to turn it on again. There wasn't any problem with the A/C and after his visit you confirmed that it works properly. Verified reviewThe perfect place to wind down after a busy holiday. The view from the terrace kinda gives you an "on top of the world feeling".
Booked the Serenity which has an indoor jacuzzi and this is just a heads up for future guests ... You need to use the shower head to fill up the jacuzzi and that is going to take probably around 2 hours. I gave up after about an hour and was only about a quarter filled.
