Bad soundproofing. Neighboring buildings much too close. Noisy housekeepers -particular one of the ladies who used to shout at 8.45-9. a.m. and unnecessarily slam things. On one occasion this lady busted into our room without knocking(!!??) while I was sleeping although we had the 'do not disturb' sign on the door.

The staff is incredibly friendly, polite, and has a great sense of humor. The DJ and the music by the pool are excellent. Breakfasts are varied and delicious.

The location is 40 minutes from Heraklion, in the small town of Gazi. It’s quiet and peaceful here, with shops nearby and a bus stop close as well. The beach is clean.

We were early, but one of our rooms was already prepared, so we could leave our luggage. We could view the sea from our balcony and the beach was 5 minutes walk away. There were a lot of restaurants in the vicinity. The breakfast was at the location of a sister hotel, 5 minutes walk.

The only thing which we do not like is Enorme Teatro, which is indeed a bad theater. The people working there are very impolite and unkind. They do not take your order. The freddo cappuccino was just milk. You ask for a small coffee and they bring you a large one so that they can charge more. In Enorme Teatro you have the feeling that you are in a wrong Italian place. We very much hope dat Nuovo will stop this collaboration.

We very much liked this modern hotel in the center of Amoudara and so close to the sea and Heraklion. There are two good restaurants: Lazaros, which is very much appreciated by the locals and Uncle George, a family restaurant, which offers local dishes combined with a large variation of starters such as jacket potatoes filled with meat or fish. Do not go to Petousis, which treats its customers as numbers and where the service is low. The quality went down and the prices went up during the last 2 years. We had a room with a patio. The lovely small olive tree. It is quiet and located in a nice neighbourhood. The staff at the reception are very kind people. They enjoy their work and are very relaxed. They take time to talk to you; not only about tourist information, but also about their personal life and experiences.

Recommending booking inclusive of the excellent breakfast at the beach at the Enorme Teatro next door. Super relaxed place that has a DJ playing most of the days. Cars, airport transfer and excursions can be organised from the reception. Opting to do nothing on the beach beds or pool is also a great way to spend your day.

Minor comment but the fridge was too small and not cold enough.

New build property with comfortable rooms and all the facilities including good ac in bedroom and living room. A short stroll to the parent hotel with excellent breakfast and lovely pool and serviced beach beds if you prefer to lounge by the sea.

The hotel is quite new and has very luxurious fittings, but there seems to be a lack of maintenance, little things like the toilet seat being loose, hooks broken and bits of the shower assembly missing. It would be very sad if these things got worse when they only need a bit of work to put them right.

This was a second visit on our way back to Heraklion. It's a good stop over with easy parking. The hotel is new with very comfortable beds and very clean. The staff were helpful and accommodating. Breakfast taken overlooking the sea at a neighbouring hotel is really special. Just a short walk from beach and restaurants.

We had an issue with some dead bugs in one of the rooms. We were moved to another suite of rooms without delay.

The breakfast which was included, was at a neighbouring hotel and was exceptionally nice. We sat outdoors and could order from a very good menu and admire the lovely sea view. The staff were very helpful and nice. The bedding and rooms are very luxurious. There was parking opposite the accommodation and restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. It is only a short drive from the airport

- it wasn’t a problem for us (as we preferred to spend the time on the beach), but the terrace didn’t look as in the picture - very little furniture, and only one (broken) sundeck

-very friendly and helpful staff -clean and spacious apartment -great location, close to shops and car rentals -possibility to use the sister hotel facilities (the swimming pool and sundecks) - very tasty breakfast in a restaurant with the seaview - good hotel restaurant with reasonable prices

Could use some kind of toaster or sandwich maker for the morning. Used the fry pan to brown bread. Maybe a few more supplies for the kitchen area would help.

New, clean, 2 br, great beds. Access to teatro beach loungers. Beach and water nice Nearby restaurants and groceries Perfect for a short stay on Crete, only 3 nights. Great value. Would recommend and stay here again.
