Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

LuxembourgPricing of cocktails, snacks, etc..., is on the pricier end. If it was a little less, the value-for-money would be perfect when booking bed&breakfast only.
Breakfast buffet was amazing (also offering a great variety for vegetarians). Facilities are clean, bedding is comfortable, rooms cosy and spacious. Warmly recommend the "Semiground Patio" room with a large Jaccuzi/Hot Tub.

AustraliaWhile we enjoyed our stay overall, there are a few areas where we feel improvements could really elevate the experience. For a luxury hotel with so many modern amenities, it was surprising that the rooms didn’t feature SMART TVs or the option to use Chromecast/streaming services. The Wi-Fi connection was also inconsistent at times, which made it difficult to stay connected. Breakfast offered variety, but we found it didn’t quite match the quality we’ve experienced at similar resorts. In terms of the room itself, we stayed in a Classic Sea View Room and, given the price point, expected a bit more space. Storage was also limited—there were no drawers or dedicated areas for unpacking folded clothes, which made settling in less comfortable. These are relatively small touches, but addressing them would really make the stay feel more in line with the luxury standard the hotel is aiming for.
We had such a wonderful stay here! The staff were warm, attentive, and truly made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room was spotless and cleaned daily—special thanks to the housekeeping team who did a fantastic job. The pool was definitely a highlight and such a relaxing spot to unwind. We also appreciated the thoughtful extras like the welcome massage, complimentary bottle of wine, and daily replenishment of water. The turndown service was another lovely touch, and I have to mention—probably the best hotel hairdryer I’ve ever used! The adults-only policy (no children under 12) made the atmosphere incredibly peaceful, which was exactly what we were looking for.

United KingdomA set of drawers in the room would have been helpful. But seems a minor issues compared to the brilliant qualities.
The hotel was beautiful. Lovely building. Smelt amazing. Rooms were cleaned twice a day. Fully equipped rooms. Lovely view over the pool and sea. So close to the beach. Amazing sun loungers. Very comfortable. Staff were brilliant. So friendly and helpful. We started to look about rebooking for later in the year whilst on holiday!

Brand new, modern hotel with superb amenities – two outdoor pools, indoor pool, spa, and direct beach access. Quiet and relaxing, with soft background music in the bar. Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast, and a great à la carte restaurant. Perfect location right on the promenade with plenty of shops and restaurants.

SloveniaThe only thing that I would change in the room is that it would be appreciated to have more wardrobes/drawers. The wardrobe is too small for two people if you are coming for a longer vacation (we were here for 10 days), so we had to have our clothes in the suitcases. Our recommendation regarding options for lunch and dinner: if you like exploring Greek dishes and going out for lunch/dinner, we recommend that you do not pay for the all inclusive option but instead go eat out at tavernas nearby. Nearby tavernas are much cheaper than the all inclusive package in the hotel and the food there is great.
The hotel is great. The architecture of this place is mind-blowing, the rooms are very pretty, the pools are clean and offerring a pleasant swim, the breakfast buffet was delicious, and the staff is really nice. The fact that the hotel is right by the beach and that you can lie on the beach and go swim in the pool at the same time sets this hotel apart from most hotels in the Rethymno city. Another great thing about the location of the hotel is that you can walk to the nearby tavernas for lunch or dinner or to the city centre (it's a 35-minutes walk to the old town). We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to anyone. We also liked the "adults-only" atmosphere - it was very peaceful at the pools and the beach. The hotel and the whole city also feels very safe and there is nobody who would disturb you at the beach (as it is common on some other touristic places).

PortugalThe glass in the shower was so small that after every shower the bathroom turned into a swimming pool. Furthermore, the parking for a 5* hotel was poor. there were limited spots in front of the hotel and parking costed 15€ a day. There were also a lot of mosquitoes and we felt that the hotel could have been a bit more proactive in dealing/helping us with the situation. They also didn’t want to give us a towel to go for the beach somewhere else and we needed to spend money on buying new towels while there were many towels in the hotel..
Nice new hotel in a good location. It had beautiful pools with access to the sea. Also the breakfast was amazing with a lot of options and variety. Also we got a free upgrade of the room with the plunge pool, that was very nice and they were very flexible with the checkout which was much appreciated.

It is our second time at the Nautilux Crete. The first time we became in love with everything. The beauty of the Hotel. Extremely clean and comfortable. Very new and well maintained. The staff is the best. Always with a smile on the face. We love the minimalism and modern design of this Hotel. The beach. The view. The service at the pool and at the beach. The food is amazing. This time we receive an upgrade and the suite with the jacuzzi was wonderful. We just have good things to share with the others. Absolutely nothing to complain.

New ZealandTo have a moan 🥴 Car parking - 15 Euros p/day / night - soon adds up . Especially when there is hardly any space available to park on the Main Street. ( hire a small to medium size car as if you are ever lucky enough to find a space they are small ) Meals & Beverages twice the price to the restaurants that are just outside or a short stroll down the road. That are also excellent. But I guess that is obvious with the low numbers of people that stay to have an evening meal or drinks. Gym is small - need to book & only max 4 people at a time .limited space limited equipment. ( to which helped me having an excuse not to go 🥴😊) Don’t forget your Euro tax of 15 Euros P/Day to be paid at the end also.
Staff through out excellent - genuine / Friendly / helpful. Bedrooms kept spotlessly clean - excellent . Whole complex is maintained kept clean throughout Breakfast included - Excellent.
