How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Mykonos is so very expensive.
Flight was 2 hours late so good that the owners were watching out for me.

The location is great!!! The room is modest and clean, the bathroom a bit small and the shower lucks a curtain so when we used it everything got wet. The hostess was extremely nice.

Nothing, it was perfect!
Great location, clean, spacious, had an aircon and the balcony to dry clothes and relax was much appreciated. The host was amazing and very accommodating and friendly, daily room service and everything you’d need from a holiday rental in the heart of Mykonos town

One small problem in that when we returned the property late at night it was flooded (?had come from another room). I couldn't fault the lady who gave us the keys originally (opposite property). It was late and she came straight away to solve the problem so we could get some sleep and the owners came to see us in the morning to make sure everything was ok.
Lovely room with a private garden. It was exactly where we thought it was, very close to the town centre. You have to walk up a lane and steps to it as there is no direct vehicular access. It had a lovely garden area accessed via French doors with a nice modern and clean bathroom with walk in shower. Nice towels and toiletries were provided.

This place was an amazing location to stay in! Great value for money. Marina was super kind and helpful. Our rooms got tidied every day which was great. We had a lovely little balcony with a small view of the water to watch the sunset! This was great and definitely would recommend

I asked for check out at 3 am in the morning and while I was showering and getting ready, I was 10 mins over and the lady didn’t appreciate and told me off maybe because she was waiting. I almost felt kicked out which is not nice because I paid for the full night. Otherwise all good!
Once you are settled inside the hotel, the Location is great to walk by places however I did struggle with my big suitcase to reach to the property and it’s not very clear to locate the property but my taxi driver spoke to the lady and she was kind enough to come pick me from Nusret which is a good landmark to follow

Marina was an amazing host! She met us outside at the time of arrival and explained the property info. One of the other staff (I believe her name was Yota) was also extremely kind and helpful. She drew us a map of the best beaches to go to as well. They also let us leave our bags after check out. Great stay, very clean rooms for a GREAT price in an even better location.

WI-FI, poor signal.
The room was right in the center of 'Little Venice' district, in the center of Mykonos Town. Very polite owner. Nice, big and spacious room, very clean with a balcony outside. The only problem was Internet. If you don't need to work while you travel - you will be fine! Wi-Fi signal is OK for surfing in social media. If you need to work on your laptop, be ready that you will not have a stable signal.
