How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewThe staff is amazing - they are so friendly and helpful - greeting everyone with a smile and genuinely helping around. The hotel is beautiful and so clean. We have never seen a bit of dirt anywhere. We have tried the hotel restaurant and other around, they were all good and not necessarily more expensive than Mykonos City. breakfast is great and with loads of variety for everyone.
it is a remote location and there is really nothing much around. One needs to be fine with it or rent a car.

Verified reviewOverall beautiful resort. Excellent facilites, Great breakfast, Wonderful, friendly and helpful staff. Nice semi-private beach next to resort.
One major issue is the distance from the resort to Mykonos Town. Though its nice the resort is far enough away that the cruise shippers don't come near the resort, its a bit of a chore to get to town and the resort shuttles don't run frequent enough and end too early in the evening - they should adjust their schedule so the run return trips past midnight. The resort restaurants are nice (not great), the dishes are good, but overpriced with the food portions being very small even for a slight lady...not to mention a man.

Verified reviewDecor was lovely, room was nice, clean and quite Spa treatment was wonderful Food was good in evening Check in took a long time and our room was not ready until 5.30 after a long day travelling as not great
Was not sure if the layout and where we could go in the hotel, would have been good to be shown around, pools and restaurants explained Breakfast was not great , people pushing in and cold eggs was not good, would have been nice to have the option of hot food even if it was just eggs Hotel pools all salt water, they were nice but very salty and not great for cooking down The hotel beach was a bit of a joke, felt like being crushed crowded, we paid for the beds next door and we 70 euros each per day was very expensive and with salt pool we did crave a non salty swim

Verified reviewWe, and many others, are repeated guests - for very good reason; the breakfast is one of the best we‘ve ever had (both selection and quality), the service and cleanliness is top notch, pool with salt water, and the staff and manager are eager to fulfil each wish making your stay special. Strongly recommended!

Verified reviewI have stayed before obviously it has nice rooms and pool ets
For a “5 star hotel” room service was shocking. The girl on the line had no idea what i was asking for and then told me to wait to get her brother. 😳another 1000 examples like that, pool service bad cocktails during the day bad! The GM really needs to get things together there, it was so much better 2 years ago

Verified reviewThe staff were very nice and eager to help with anything. The restaurant manager was so lovely and went out of her way to make sure our dining experiences were perfect. The Manager was also incredibly helpful and approachable. We can’t fault the actual hotel and facilities at all.
The location for us was a bit remote and it’s difficult to get into town easily. The hotel runs shuttles but not necessarily at the times that suit. Taxi or drivers are hard to find and can be quite costly. Unfortunately, due to the high wind going to the beach was also not really an option.

Verified reviewThe property was so beautiful and decor was very cool. It was one of 6 properties on the hillside and you can utilise all of them for pool and restaurant and gyms/spa. I could not stop taking pics! It was a 5 min walk to amazing Elia beach. Wonderful staff, breakfast and room with insane view. A shuttle takes you to Mykonos town and back 30 mins transfer a couple of times a day. We went twice for a day trip. And visited Delos. The rest of the time we stayed and enjoyed all the hotels. The sun beds are super comfy by the pool and down on the beach. The sushi restaurant was excellent. All have the view. Very romantic. Some entertainment but we missed all, not sure how! Maybe more information about this in lobby? All in all a relaxing stay in a beautiful venue with views and beach with all sports.
Everything was expensive, the no boutique shop and meals and alcohol. There was another couple of hotels to visit to eat less so but nothing else in immediate area. Remember Mykonos is windy and mostly need flat shoes as terrain hilly.

Verified reviewThe property is far beyond what words can describe. It’s luxurious, clean, and has everything you need and more for a relaxing stay! The staff are exceptional. They have truly thought of everything. Everything you need and more is here.
Although you book a villa with a private pool- the only thing separating you from others is a shade curtain. It doesn’t truly provide you the private feeling as you can see each other through the shade curtain and when you’re in the pool. For the price you pay for your own private pool, I would expect clear division between other guests.
Dear valued guest, Thank you for sharing your review of your stay at the Myconian Villa Collection. We are thrilled to hear that you found our property luxurious and well-equipped for a relaxing stay, and that our staff made a positive impression on you. We appreciate your feedback regarding the privacy of the villas with private pools. We will take your comments into consideration. Please note that all our room types offer a high level of privacy; however, we do not advertise that 100% privacy is guaranteed. The term "private pool" refers to its exclusive use by the guests staying in the room. The room partitions can be either with a drop-down curtain or with a wall separation. Should you have preferred more privacy, you could have contacted the front desk to check the availability of more private options according to your preferences. Thank you for highlighting this aspect of your stay. Your input is valuable to us as we strive to enhance our guest experience. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back to the Myconian Villa Collection in the future, providing you with an even more enjoyable and private experience. Warm regards, George Manes Hotel Manager
