How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The bathrooms are nice, but most doors had broken locks. The pool area was very clean but the pool itself was pretty gross.
The beds were very private, but probably not good if you were claustrophobic. The style of the place is great. Location is amazing! Pool area is very nice to escape the crowds.

The was no privacy, a curtain in the bed would be appreciated (for the light, and for privacy) Mi luggage locked was not working (didn't close properly) In the shower, there was nothing to put your soap or shampoo, a small stand would be appreciated

the room was TINY, we could barely open up both our carry on suitcases and there was no door separating the bathroom/bedroom.
prime location (walking distance to centre, 24/7 mini market below, easy to locate and not too noisy at night) pool area was perfect for relaxing during the day. was able to leave luggage prior to check in. a very social hostel !!

The floors of the room were pretty narrow so it got challenging with luggage for severeal of the guests. The bathrooms both in the common area and in the room could have been cleaner. The door to the toilet by the pool also doesn't lock..!
The pool was a great touch with a view and I used it both before check-in and after check-out.

The toilets in the private room agave mo door you have zero privacy with friends or partners and you have to leave the room to go to the toilet also the doors don’t close fully so it can be very loud

All the money in my wallet was stolen, I had only been in the restroom for a minute. This has nothing to do with the facility, of course, but caution should be exercised when staying there.
First of all, the lady working at the reception might be the most kind-hearted person in the world, I thank her very much. The location is good. I have stayed there in previous years. This last room was very crowded and the noise never stopped, but overall my room was clean and tidy.

There was a lot of outside noise and the ladders to the bunks felt pretty unsafe in the dark

thought the double room would have space but was super cramped and the shower/toilet were in the room right behind the bed and didn’t drain very well.

The room became very damp like when having the air conditioning on and developed a smell, the location of the private rooms is a 1 minute walk away from the main base. Not that this is of fault of the facility but we had a couple of young Australian girls that were yelling and screaming all night with absolutely no respect, we asked them to be quiet around 3am as we had an early morning flight and the attitude on them was absolutely woeful, no respect whatsoever. Hoping this was a one of occurrence however there was no one at the property to complain to at the time.
The property was located in a great central location to the old town, room was clean and there was access to a pool with a fantastic view

Frosted glass panel above bed would be good. So you can go toilet in private

Didn't have much privacy for my bed but others had loads (I think I'd be claustrophobic in some of them). No kitchen facilities which I didn't realise and no water but a shop down stairs where you can buy from. Also a few of the bathroom locks didn't work.
Really nice terrace and lots of storage for your belonging and obviously very aesthetically pleasing.

The aircon did not work very well and the rooms did get quite hot at points but was fairly okay
The location is fantastic! Staff were lovely and the rooms were good value for money.

Maybe add a small fridge or the option to add a tent for a little more privacy when using the restroom.
Comfortable and relatively cheap for Mykonos! The seeting is quiet and stylish. Despite not having an window, there's really no humidity in the room and the bed is so comfortable. The room is also equipped with AC working perfectly.
