Minoa Apartments was a great place for us (family with 2 kids) - cozy, very friendly staff always there to support without being intrusive, good facilities (everything needed for summer days in the apartment, restaurant/bar always available, generous breakfast, swimming pool, car hire), a chill and familiar atmosphere. Thank you for hosting us 😉

The surroundings are not the most attractive, but positive the beach is close by. There are taverns, supermarkets, other facilities in short distance.

The apartment was spacious and spotless clean, the pool was really nice, the staff was super kind, friendly and always willing to help, amazing breakfast. Overall a top experience. We are definitely coming back !

Great family run hotel Great location. Short walk to beach, shops and restaurants Lovely breakfast spread Lenders go above and beyond. Even going shop for non dairy milk

The location was good. Bus station to the airport and to the Heraklion city center 1 min from the hotel. The sea and the beach in walking distance. The apartment was smaller than on the pictures, but it had a very nice balkony. The pool is in the shade. Probably good when visiting in summertime, but in October would have liked that it was in the sunlight. The staff was very friendly and made me smile. The hotel and the apartment were clean. The breakfast was excellent.

Breakfast- great selection of traditional home cooked food. Sweet, savoury, fresh fruit, yogurts. Nice to not see bacon and Cumberland sausages. Location- 5 mins walk to the beach. Several beach bars. We went to Kooba a lot. Great food and you can use sun beds for free or stay by pool for 10 euros each. Worth it as beach got a bit windy. Walking distance to coffee shops, gift shops and restaurants 2 mins. Waves was a good restaurant.

Shower was a bit small and sometimes didn’t get hot water. It may be due to it being solar powered and it was cloudy. The pool are has lots of tree so can get a bit shady. Pool area is beautiful and great to shield you from hot sun.

The breakfast spread is simply magnificent. Location makes it easy to take bus to Heraklion central area 5 minutes walk to beach and there is fantastic beach bar called KOOBA (look it up) Good quality lounges and pool Private parking

50 steps to apartment a lift would make it 20/10

We stayed in 5 nights in a room for 4 with two kids. There is nothing we missed or could complain about. Room is clean, modern designed, everything seems to be new. Bathroom is very nice as well and all gets cleaned every day with fresh towels being provided. Pool area is lovely too. What you see on pictures is what you get. Banana, lemon and palm trees, free sun beds and a pool where both adults and kids can enjoy a good time. Breakfast which they serve are FANTASTIC and you really have all you would need from breakfast buffet. Staff is of course very friendly, I would say mainly locals so they really appreciate you as guest. There is a supermarket 2 minutes from the accommodation located on high street where all kind of shopping may be done. You may have a dinner in Minoa too + there are a lot of restaurants down the mentioned high street as well. Closest beach is about 5 minutes walk. It’s sandy one and has number of bars and restaurants directly on it. If you thinking about Minoa, do not hesitate! You will not regret it for sure ;) we <3 it a lot!

That's not the best option if you're looking for a beach and sea experience. In general there is a lack of cleanliness and maintenance around the area.

The location was good, close to shops, restaurants and the beach. The staff were wonderful and there was a gods choice for breakfast. The pool area was clean with plenty of lounges although extra shade would help.

We stayed up the back in a house which was quiet but the beds and pillows were uncomfortable and need replacing. There was also a bad smell in the bathroom

Great apartment fully equipped, great and large balcony, nice design, comfortable beds.

The fact that other clients were allowed to clean the pool during swimming hours with DISH SOAP. The first hours we arrive then I saw from my balcony a lady cleaning the pool with DISH SOAP. After my complaints to the barman he said me that he is a lifeguard also and due to this he knows that DISH SOAP is ok for pools. But he asked them to stop. Of course pool was not suitable for swimming after this, my daughter confirmed through thousands of bubbles that water tastes soap. After 20min same clients decided to clean their sunglasses in the pool with DISH SOAP again. I asked the lifeguard-barman to talk with the owner or someone that he is really responsible for such matters. A nice and gentle lady appeared and she assured me that pool chemicals are not healthy and DISH SOAP is suitable for cleaning the pool and that she can’t control all her clients . I only mentioned that DISH SOAP is suitable for cleaning the dishes and pool chemicals for cleaning the pool as I realised that there is no sense of logic in our talk. I payed a good price for having a pool but sadly it was a comedy really expensive. Owner’s tries to convince me that all is good with the DISH SOAP were at least ridiculous. Btw we stayed 2 nights and we didn’t have hot water at all. I didn’t mentioned it to the owner after our disappointing discussion. I had two days to spend there and I didn’t have the patience to face same irresistible behaviour again.

Amazing breakfast, calm area, clean, great location, friendly staff, big and nice kids playground. The hotel has a kitchen and offers lunch/dinner with tasty dishes.

We had an excellent and pleasant stay. A minor drawback was that the room had spacious wardrobes but lacked drawers which made it difficult to organize clothes and smaller items during our stay.

Nice aparthotel in quiet area with parking, Not far away from the beach. Clean, cosy and comfortable although the kitchen is very small. Good restaurant in hotel. Very kind and helpful hosts.
