My husband and I shared with 4 other younger guys and the room smelled like feet whenever the window was closed and aircon on. I guess that balances out the cheap price you pay for sharing a room :-)

The owner/manager, who also runs the cafe next door, is awesome! Best customer service we had in Greece. He shows everyone to their room, helps explain where to park and even gave us tips where to stop for coffee on our way back to Athens. Great location in Kalabaka. We never had a wait for bathrooms/showers/kitchen.

Although there was strong air-conditioning there was relatively warm especially in the upper bunk beds when you had your curtains closed-which is basically the only way you could be in a 6 persons room. The storage closets which were located on the floor were not very convenient if you slept in the top bunk and they were also very noisy so you would unavoidably wake other people up if you needed anything from your stuff.

İt was very clean, very easy to get to and the host was clear and direct. A very good value for money stay!

Maybe it is a good idea to put some kind of lock in the doors. Doors are open, but everybody has it own locker. So it is ok.

Everything perfect. Nice people, the owners itself explain you everything and help you. The place was pretty clean and quiet, good location, bus and train were walking distance. Very recommendable.

Bed is comfy, they have AC in the room, the people were really nice and so helpful for everything, free clean COLD water to drink, everything you could possibly need in the shared kitchen/lounge, located super central to everything, beautiful views, and lastly small balcony to chill.

The kitchen appliances were a bit dirty (eg. kettle covered in limescale), but this was mainly due to occupants not cleaning properly after use.

Beds were nice and private with full privacy curtain and space next to the mattress to keep valuables. Bathrooms were cleaned daily and while there were some small plumbing and lighting issues at one point, the host sent someone to fix them very promptly. Large lockers underneath the bed were very spacious and made me feel that my belongings were secure. The host was very kind and helpful, even helped us to book taxis, etc. Very approachable and ready to help. FABULOUS location, literally right in the centre of town, everything is walkable, including the starts of the big hikes, bike rental places, etc. We could even look at the mountains from the hostel window. Definitely recommend for a cheap but comfy and clean stay in Meteora!

Clean, great communal area with fresh drinking water, tea and coffee, and plenty of cooking utensils etc. Washing machine, good range of people in the hostel. Helpful staff, and very central. Parking in a street nearby. On the downside, it was noisy outside at night, though it was a public holiday, so this may be why.

I would say one of the best or maybe even the best hostel I‘ve ever been in. The staff is super friendly and really helpful with information about meteora. It‘s super clean and there‘s a lot of space around the bed to put stuff. The lockers are also really big. The curtains on the bed give you privacy.

Doors between the common room and the beds are quite thin so all common room conversation is quite loud when trying to sleep. Thankfully, seemed like most people went to sleep by midnight on the night I was there but it could be an issue if they didn’t.

Super helpful staff, good location, really well built furniture that didn’t creak at all (I was told it was handmade) One of the best managed hostels I’ve ever seen!

Location was great on Main Street, near bus terminal and walks. Staff were very helpful on arrival and during my stay. Great to have access to a kitchen. All very clean and great lockers under bed to keep all belongings safe. Comfortable bed. Supermarket about 20m away.
