Ilenia was a wonderful host. We felt as comfortable at the hotel as we do in our own home. She recommended places and beaches that locals go to. We fell in love with Chios Island and came back with great memories. We will definitely go again and stay at their hotel. 💛 Thank you for everything. She is also an amazing artist. We returned with lovely gifts for our friends from the gift shop.

We stayed at Melia Sol for three nights in early June, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The building and our room were absolutely beautiful—spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, and full of thoughtful touches that made us feel so welcome. From the soft lavender scent in the wardrobe to the small grey towels just for makeup, everything was designed with care and attention to detail. Although we didn’t dine at the hotel, our experience was made exceptional thanks to Ilenia, the owner. She is an extraordinary woman and a talented artist. Ilenia went above and beyond to help us with everything—from making restaurant reservations to giving us the best local tips. No matter how many questions we had, she answered all of them with patience and warmth. We truly admired her, her sense of style, and the beautiful space she created. The hotel’s lovely little garden was a peaceful haven. Doing yoga there in the quiet of the morning, with only birdsong in the background, was pure bliss. Honestly, if we weren’t curious about the rest of the island, we could’ve happily spent all day in the hammocks. We rented a car to explore the island and visited different beaches and charming tavernas every day—it was a perfect four-day getaway. I wholeheartedly recommend this family business where you will glady meet Ilenia and her parents. We’ve already started dreaming about our second trip—next time, we plan to cook in the little kitchenette, enjoy the sea view from our balcony, and sip our coffee in the garden.

Everything was exceptional, from gorgeous sea views to the beautifully designed boutique hotel. Ilenia and her mom were simply the best hosts we've had so far anywhere in the world--they were incredibly thoughtful, kind, friendly, and attentive to all our needs. I might revisit Chios Island only to stay at Melia Sol again! :) P.S. Ilenia's designs and artwork are everywhere and she's so talented!

Amazing hosts. Ilaria and her mom made our stay even better. Very clean hotel with tasteful architectural touches. 5 min walking to Karfas beach. Very clean. Seems a bir pricey compared to the others in the island, but you get what you pay for.

It was very nicely designed, comfortable, functional. Both the facility and the room had a great view of the sea and Cesme. You can spend the whole day at the balcony or the garden without going out. The staff and manager were exceptionally kind, helpful and frindly. Great coffee, too.

The owner of the hotel Ilenia was incredibly helpful. The room was really clean and had a nice balcony with view. I also loved the small kitchenette, we prepared our breakfasts at hotel.

We had great time in Melia Sol Art Studios. The hotel is super cozy and stylish. The rooms were big, very comfortable and the view was just stunning. Ilenia was a great host. She helped us with everything during our stay, shared restaurant recommendations on the island and the best beaches. We feel like we have a home in Chios! :) Also as a bonus, we had the chance to see Ilenia's lovely art pieces in the hotel.

Ilenia took care of almost everthing after the reservation. We didn't rent a car initially, but when we arrived at Karfas, we decided to rent one. Instead of going into the city, she arranged for the car to be delivered to the hotel, which was a surprising experience. She not only answered our questions about where to go and what to do on the island throughout the day, but also provided detailed responses whenever we called her. The design of our room and the architecture of the property was excellent, and the terrace of our room made us feel like we had the best room on the island. Thank you, Ilenia, for making it a wonderful weekend for our entire family.

there is nothing negative about this place. The hotel, location, staff, rooms, all are perfect and exceeds the expectations. It is very easy to get to the beach and the view is spectacular. We will definitely come back for our future trips.

Great communications via WhatsApp meant that I was notified as soon as the studio was ready so could check in early. I received a fabulous welcome on arrival from Ilenia. The rooms are tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Breakfast was served on the upper terrace with a wonderful view to the sea. It was plentiful and individually prepared - the home-made cakes were wonderful
