Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Finlandthe toilet was generally clean, some hairs etc. were still found. Otherwise the room was perfect. The location was not the best, but thanks to that, you got a really good hotel for the price. There aren't many shops nearby and it's some distance to the beach. The airport is also right next door, so it gets noisy from time to time. For the most part, the hotel still has a peaceful atmosphere and is quiet
Good breakfast, cozy bar and pool area, the rooms were large and well air-conditioned, also modern. Staff were really informative. there was also a good storage point for luggage near the reception desk if you arrived at the hotel too early or wanted to stay at the hotel after the room was handed over.

AustraliaLocation. There's not a lot to do in walking distances. No restaurant as such - only undercover area near the outdoor bar. Same menu as the pool side menu. Unable to eat while lying by the pool.
Size of our room was exceptional. Bar staff friendly (Spiro and Penelope). Offered shower facilities to use after checkout as we stayed until late afternoon.

United StatesSince the tap water is not potable, it might be an idea for the resort to provide daily bottled water in the rooms. During our stay they only provided it on arrival. It was not a big problem as we got bottled water at the local mini-mart, just a short walk away.
This place is a real oasis. The facilites are beauriful and many of the rooms have unique ammenities such as a small private pool adjacent to the room. We had a "standard" room with a balcony. The room was spacias. Since there are no elevators staff members took our luggage to the room and back to reception on departure. The main pool is large and they have a nice bar adjacent to it. The common facilities are excellent. The resort is a short walk from the beach, which is not the white sandy beaches we ar used to since Santorini is a volcanic island. Initialy the location was a concern as you are far from the tourist hot spots that one normally thinks of as Santorini. But there are two restaurants (Taverna Gallini was excellent) and a winery (Gaia Winery - also excellent) within walking distance of the resort. If you want to visit the tourist areas you will need transportation, cab or rental. We were with a group so we have a prearranged island tour and were picked up by the cruise company for our sunset catamaran cruise. Personally I would avoid staying in tourist areas as they are crazy busy with high traffic and the areas are pretty well trashed by the hordes. This is a relaxed location, but you can still get to the typical tourist spots too. It is located right near the airport, but I barely heard the departing jets. The staff was helpful, expecially Virginia, who may be the manager. She helped by printing our all 29 boarding passes I was emailed for our ferry back to Athens. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

United StatesCloser to the beach. Closer to town of Kamari beach.
Thought it was closer to the beach and that it was in the town of Kamari beach but it sits by itself just on the other side of the airport. The breakfast was fantastic. Loved the pool. Staff was very friendly.

SwedenI would like to provide constructive feedback rather than destructive criticism. There are a few aspects that need improvement without significant economic cost: - **Transportation**: It is very difficult without a car because the tourist areas are far away, and just one taxi ride costs 40-50€. We only rented a car from the third day, which was a rather delayed decision. - **Outdoor Bar Area**: The seating material on the outdoor terrace is extremely dirty. A textile cleaning would help enormously. - **Breakfast**: A major downside is breakfast. I've been to 3-star hotels that are better than what I experienced for five days at your hotel. The vegetables, such as tomatoes and cucumbers, are not fresh and seem to be cut a day or two in advance, which is unnecessary as it doesn't require much effort. The ham is old, and the cheese is dry at the edges. For the last two days, I ate cereal, which I don't usually do. I recommend a smaller variety but fresh, rather than many poor-quality options. - **Seating**: The chairs are defective. I had to change 3 chairs to find one that was upright; most of them lean to one side. In terms of room quality, breakfast, and restaurant, I would rate you at a maximum of 3 stars. However, your outdoor pools deserve at least 4 stars! I would return if you manage to make the necessary changes, which are not costly at all!
The pool and palm trees are wonderful. The staff is friendly, nice, and helpful!

United KingdomOne staff member in particular, I think her name is Catherine or something like that, not 100 that that is her name, but it definitely begins with a C. She almost ruined our good vibes when we arrived. Tried to deny me of the room that I had paid for, initially tried to put us in a completely different room and started shouting down on me when I tried to explain peacefully. I had no choice but to put her in her place to finally get what I deserved. Not a great way to start our girls trip. All the other staff members were extremely nice, pleasant and helpful.
When I finally got the room I had paid for, it was lovely, clean And the facilities were nice. The breakfast was ok too.

Fantastic pool and bar. Great breakfast. Staff is very helpful with renting a car or booking a cruise. Very clean. Close to airport. Expect to rent a car to save money. Transport one way from the port to the hotel was 50 euros each and Fira and Oia are a great distance away.

United KingdomThe room we chose had a pool view so I was disappointed that we didn't get that. The hotel itself wasn't close to any restaurants or places of interest. Walking to and from the hotel wasn't easy as it required walking on dusty tracks, by stoney beach or a main road that wasn't well lit so you definitely need to hire a car.
From the minute we arrived, we were treated with courtesy. All the staff were super friendly, helpful and very accommodating. The poolside area was fabulous and very relaxing. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. Breakfasts were excellent with enough choice for everyone and there were always enough tables

HungaryAt arrival we were informed of the (significant) Santorini tourist tax of 10 euro/person per night. It’s good to keep this tax in mind when booking the stay to avoid unpleasant surprises. (In our case Booking.com already covered 7 Euro/person/night)
Special thanks to Mr. David from the reception! He gave us the best service and helped with all our queries. Also thanks to the manager of the catering as she arranged a nice early breakfast before our morning flight at 6am.

IndiaOur room had a shower area, which had only glass. There was absolutely no privacy to the shower area. Secondly, though the location is right next to the airport, this resort is pretty far off from everything.
The resort is very beautiful. The rooms are big and each has its own sit out.
