Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomUpon arrival we were given an upgrade (first ever!) to an amazing room, absolutely huge, massive L shaped balcony with outside furniture etc. and great views. The down side was that we were only here for one night so didn’t even get to use all the furniture. I booked the hotel for the location (we’d stayed in the old town for a few night before an 8 day trip in Albania). It was in a nice area, close to the airport and its location overlooking the sea, with a pool and bar on the corner, just seemed a good place to chill out on our last day without having to move, and it was. If we return to Corfu I’d definately stay here again, enjoy more the hotel and explore the laid back neighbourhood.

United KingdomMisleading room description. I booked a room with garden view and I had instead a room with view on the neighbour's laundry! Rooms should be called room with balcony rather than garden view (see picture) Small swimming pool with few chairs Location too far away from the city center (good 25min walk) Bathroom will benefit from updating Average buffet
Very nice and professional staff. They handled very well the 1h power cut we had in the evening following bad weather.

BrazilMy experience at Mon Repos Palace was excellent. The breakfast is truly spectacular — one of the best I’ve had in a hotel, with plenty of variety and fresh options every morning. The staff also took care of arranging a transfer for me, and the driver was beyond kind and courteous, which made the arrival even smoother. As for the accommodations, the room had a slightly older style, but it was still very comfortable and well maintained, offering everything needed for a pleasant stay. Overall, Mon Repos Palace delivers a combination of great service, comfort, and outstanding hospitality. I would definitely stay here again.

IrelandNothing very negative. Most of the other guests were of an older age group so it felt quieter. We didn't mind that but i don't think it would suit younger people. Also the rooms are lovely but some things could be replaced or upgraded.
The location and sea view were very nice. The breakfast and evening meal were great. We found the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had to leave very early one morning and would miss breakfast so the staff kindly made us something pre-prepared which was very thoughtful. There was always a place to park the car right outside. In the evening there was live music on the terrace. There's a small beach across the road.

AustraliaVery good property. A bit of a walk to city centre but worth it as parking there is chaos. Breakfast was delicious and had a big variety of food. You could have a buffet dinner at the hotel restaurant for €20 which was amazing value. Food was delicious, massive variety and great quality. The ladies that worked in the restaurant were amazing. Big shout out to Alexandra, Evangelia and Efi. Thank you very much.

United KingdomThe Reception area needed a bit of updating and the pool area are little on the small side. Also, the shower in the room was a little awkward to get used to.
The location was perfect within easy access of Corfu Town. But the staff were top class. The team led by Stella were exceptional with special mention for Ferdi, Epy, Myra, Katerina who made our stay special. The views from the 4th floor were stunning.

United KingdomNo mini bar in a deluxe room! Also, we had some housekeeping and maintenance issues. Nothing major but for the money we paid we expected not to have any issues of that nature. Once the issues were reported, the hotel dealt with them efficiently.
We had the deluxe double room with sea view; the view was amazing indeed. We also had the a’ la carte dinner twice; both times the food was well prepared and tasty. The buffet was very good both for breakfast as well as for dinner. The restaurant staff and reception were very helpful.

AustraliaRooms are small, bathroom is so tiny I kept hitting my arms and I am only 5 ft. Pool is small and only a few loungers, we opted to go across the road to a restaurant not associated with the hotel and had a lounger for a few hours, only a minimum spend that we were delighted with because food, drinks, view and staff Fridge was noisy, continuous sound all night and I couldn’t turn it off.
Location close to airport (around 10 mins) sea accessible by a few steps. Center is a lovely stroll lined with lots of restaurants. Room on 1st floor was quiet, comfy beds ans lovely balcony, bathroom products and tea and coffee facilities. Early checkin not available but staff gave us beach towels at no cost. I was leaving early in the morning and staff organised an early breakfast of coffee, fruit and muffins that was appreciated .

United KingdomUnfortunately we booked the ‘comfort’ room and it was extremely small, especially for the price. We had to put one of our suitcases on the (very small) balcony to give us a bit more room. We only stayed for 4 nights and weren’t in the room much but if you’re looking to stay for longer or to spend much time in the room I’d suggest getting one of the better rooms.
The location is superb - a pleasant 25 minute walk in to Corfu Town across the bay and lots of good restaurants and things to do nearby. Breakfast was fine and whilst the hotel pool wasn’t the biggest we never had an issue getting a sunbed for a quick relax and dip after a day out.

Australia1. Sadly the bathtub is narrow and not easy to stand in when showering. This could be better at €278 a night otherwise everything else was great. 2. Be aware that the Euronet ATM & Third party fees were quite rich at 9.6% which totalled €9.51(Third party fee was €5.95) for €150 🤦🏻♂️ Note - this is not the venues atm but on premises.
Great service by the staff and reception. Exceptional food.and complementary snacks. The room was clean and tidy.

AustriaThe bathroom was in a bad condition and not really for a 4star hotel, definately needs renovation (it is very old, with rust, broken ceramics and with a curtain around the shower place). The small nearby beach is not really good -very dirty and the water is with stones, so you need the special shoes to get safely into the water.
The room was very good and spacious, breakfast and dinner were really delicious and of good quality, the location is good if you want to explore Corfu town as it is around 20 min walking to the old town and the majority of the sightseeings
