Perfect place , in the middle of Avlemonas and the beautiful , famous spot , where you can swim . Just wake up , put your bikini on , get out , walk 30 seconds and ‘Splash’ , right into the sea !!! Apartment with everything you need in the toilet , kitchen, bedroom . Bed was perfect Owners very kind and helpful . I advise the choice !!!!

Everything was great about our stay

We couldn’t have made a better choice for our stay in Kithyra! As soon as we arrived we were welcomed by the hosts who made us feel at home! The apartment was great, with a balcony, kitchen and great facilities! The location in Avlemonas was just the best! A few steps away from Avlemonas pool - which for us was the best place in Kithyra! Our room was cleaned every day and anything we needed the staff were always there. Parking on premises was very convenient too. Chora is about a 30 min drive from Avlemonas, but there are also many beaches around near and far to go to. Totally recommend Maryianni for your stay, you’d love it!! Great location, great apartment and overall great experience!

We were two guys not sleeping together…and the ‘sofa bed’ is small and not very comfortable. We found Avlemonas otherwise to be expensive. Maybe justifiable when it is hectic in mid-summer…but in early May? Our most expensive accommodation after three weeks on the road…and far from the best.

Spectacularly clean apartment in a wonderful location. Great hosts….who offered very flexible check-in and check-out times, which was appreciated!

The property is lovely, perfectly located, so clean and comfortable with aircon and blackout shutters for an excellent nights sleep. The kitchenette is well equipped and there’s a large fridge in each apartment which is great for hot days. The host was so kind, generous and welcoming. She let us check out late which made our day. Overall a wonderful place to be.

Eleni and Manos, our hosts were welcoming and helpful ☺️ I highly recommend this accommodation, just a stone's throw from the picturesque bay of Avlemonas. there is a nice gentle hike of 1 hr to the top of the nearby hill, start walking from just behind the apartments

I thought we were directly on the waterfront when we booked but it is across the street. Not a big deal at all but just incase anyone else is under the same impression. The street is very tiny and it was not an issue.

The location is perfect. This is a great place to base yourself on the island. All the restaurants felt like hidden gems. The restaurant and shop owners were all so pleasant and it felt like a community! Each morning we walked the paths to see the goats come down to the shoreline, the town cats run to the dock as soon as they hear the fisherman’s motors approach. The fisherman were nice enough to toss out tiny fish to all other waiting cats! Swimming the cove was our family’s activity - plenty of cliffs to jump off for our young boys with ladders to climb back up! The water was clear, calm and beautiful!

I loved my Studio Apartment so much that I ended up staying an extra night! I couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome and nothing was a problem, even my request to arrive early was generously granted. My Studio was spacious and elegant with a large balcony and a beautiful view of the sea. Stay here, you will love it!!

It might need a parasol in the terrace for the mornings as the suns hits right on it and it is impossible to sit there for morning coffee.

Nothing, it was just what we wanted!

Views as promised, really small village with lots of good places to eat. Lovely swimming cove. Nice balcony with shade in the afternoon - small kitchen, big fridge, perfect for a summer holiday.

The bed is very firm and the pillows too hard. The top sheets need to be a size larger and a cotton blanket would be good too. Otherwise it was great.

Avlemonas is the best place to stay. Easy drive from the ferry and to most of the other towns or points of interest. The apartments are perfectly located and well maintained. Lots of tavernas to choose from for dinner and the beautiful inlet which is basically a private pool for the locals and lucky tourists staying there. Air con in bedroom is good to have and fly screens on windows. Private balconies. Quiet but convenient. Kitchen reasonably well set up, decent sized fridge. Great for longer stays.

No breakfast available here, but there was a tiny kitchen in the apartment and you can pick up supplies in supermarkets around the island.

Maryianni Apartments offer clean and comfortable accommodation in the prettiest town on Kythira, Avlemonas. Our apartment had a spacious terrace with views over a little inlet where you could swim and sunbathe. Located close to both the port and airport, this place makes a terrific base for exploring this beautiful island. Hosts were friendly and helpful.

The bed was a little uncomfortable for us as we like a soft bed but that is just personal preference. But the apartment was so wonderful that it really didnt matter - sun loungers would have been a great addition.
