Great location and hospitable staff. One receptionist brought me a small bottle of Greek wine. The WiFi was very good and the staff provided good information about Pyrgos.

Our room safes not working (but this is Greece and so had no worries about personal honesty in the hotel). Take a sink plug.

The staff: couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Lovely clean rooms; very Greek breakfast. Room furniture, although fairly old, beautifully made and sturdy. Room extremely well laid out with plenty of storage. A fine old-fashioned hotel.

I stayed here in order to visit the ancient site of Olympia. The hotel is close to the train station for the train to Olympia, and close to the KTEL bus station for the connection to Athens. The hotel is charming, you get coffee and tea for free too. Food options on the main part of old town are just a short walk away.

Check in and check out was smooth. Very friendly and attentive. It was for over night stay and needed comfortable warm room and bed which we got.

Balcony was very dirty. Couldn't take out a towel to dry it. The air conditioning facing the bed it was a little difficult to handle.

Great and very friendly staff - Spiros was really helpful and very kind, he helped us with the bus schedule to Olympia and back! Even though the hotel is not a modern one, it was clean and good enough for us. Breakfast was basic, but it was ok for us.

I continue to be amazed at the design and set-up of showers in Greece. Wetting everything in the bathroom seems to be the norm, and I will never understand why a hook for the shower head continues to elude. Power points, preferably beside the bed, would be helpful.

I smelled some smoke at times when I was in my room. Not too bad but yet not great. I guess below or next to me people were smoking. Not sure what the policies are but that was the only thing I did not like.

A privately run hotel in the center of Pirgos. Quietly located. Very easy to park for free. Short walk to the square and shops. Clean room. Very basic overall but I only paid 44 euro per night. I can completely recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for an economic place to stay. I was positively surprised to have a nice balcony and also a small fridge. Very friendly staff and a good basic free breakfast.

Deserves a look. Good value-Hotel owners (forced to delay upgrades by Covid) have kept room rate stable. Everything is well maintained, clean. Breakfast was served on lovely clean linen. Great spot to stay if visiting Olympus.

No curtines in the shower, floor got really wet after shower

We needed a place to sleep after a long drive from Meteora and we decided to stop in Pyrgos got this hotel just 2 mins walking from city centre. Plenty of parking outside the hotel, good wifi, fridge in the room, a/c, heating, kettle, coffee and tea, plenty of hot water early in the morning and at night time too. Nice people in the reception, check in and out were easy and quick. Pyrgos is 20 mins away from Olympia, our final destination.

They could have paid a bit more attention to the cleanliness of the room. There were still some hairs in the bathroom from previous guests or the cleaning staff.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room had plenty of space and everything you need (safe, fridge, tea/coffee, cups, AC, TV, etcetera). The breakfast was simple but had something for every preference (fruit, egg, grilled sandwich, yogurt, yam, honey, butter, croissant, cake, juice, coffee, water, etc.).

Hotel Marily is a good choice for visiting both the archaeological site in Olympia and the beach nearby. Room is simple, but comfortable. Staff is especially kind and was very helpful by providing all the required information regarding taxi and bus schedule. Bus station is in walking distance with buses serving Olympia and Athen. Though, the hotel is not new, but is well maintained and provides several convenience services including 0-24 reception. Breakfast was simple, but substantial and was served earlier on request.
