I had a great time at Maria's Room. Perfect location, nice pool, quiet, nice views, clean room, one minute to the wonderful beach, close to two good tavernas (Paradiso and Manolis), close to a Mini-Market and a bus-station to Naxos town, very friendly staff. Highly recommended.

We loved our stay-George is really helpful; the facilities and cleanliness are top notch; our apartment was well equipped and spacious with a lovely balcony to enjoy a nightcap and the views. We particularly liked the pool - it’s private, well maintained and always loungers free. Location is perfect with the bus close to the property, a beautiful beach and lots of great places to eat.

George is a fantastic host! He always goes the extra mile in every interaction. Before our arrival he was quick to answer any questions, and once we got there he welcomed us warmly, introduced us to the area, and made us feel right at home. The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect with the beautiful Plaka beach just outside the hotel, a supermarket around the corner and walking distance to closest village.

Stayed for a 2nd time st Maria's Rooms as part of Island hopping in the Cyclades in June. I had the same room as my last stay, which was again spacious, very clean and comfortable. The location is also a major reason to stay here in Naxos as your just a few yards from the beach in Plaka which goes on for many kms to the south and north of the resort with plenty of choice of tavernas and cafes on the beach where you will find a bus to town and the poet every half hour in summer. George and the team at Maria's Rooms are always very helpful and always there for help and advice on what to see and do in Naxos. Hope to be staying again at Maria's Rooms and in beautiful Naxos within the next few years regards Matthew

Mosquito nets on windows and balcony dors would be nice. A few additional hooks in the bathroom too.

The room was cosy with a a great view. Good internet. Room are cleaned every day. Proprietor and staff are very curteous. Beach is just a short walk away as well as convenience store and plenty of bars and restorants.

There was nothing to dislike.

We loved the apartment, inside and out. It had a great outlook towards the sea and a lovely little balcony to appreciate it from. Greek islands are very dusty and bare but most know this about Greek islands. We had to drive down a dusty road and a dusty lane to reach our apartment but it was the same for all other accommodation. Arriving at our apartment was like arriving at an oasis. So crisp and white and clean. We shared our apartment with my sister-in-law and although we were in one room it didn’t feel cramped and the third bed was indeed a bed and not a sofa so was very comfortable. The little kitchen was great for our breakfasts and light lunches and each evening we dined out. The apartment was very clean and bright and having the balcony was a bonus. Our room was serviced each day and how wonderful it was to come back to such a clean environment. Each morning we walked the few paces to the beach, found a shady tree and just soaked up the sun and sea. A coffee frappe from the restaurant adjacent became a much enjoyed routine. All in all, great accommodation in a great area for relaxation.

We had a very enjoyable stay, George was a very welcoming host. The room was cozy and very clean, the property is very well kept and the pool is also nice. The location is perfect, there’s tons of beach bars and restaurants minutes away, you could spend all your time here without needing to go elsewhere on the island (although having a car allowed us to experience some very good restaurants, it’s also a 10-15min drive to the city). Overall very good value for money, would definitely return

Wish we had more time here and could've stayed longer

We loved this part of Naxos. The location of the accommodation was perfect. A short walk to beautiful beaches, a bus stop if needed, beach tavernas and bars. The apartment had a great balcony with sea views. Was equipped with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Staff were very helpful, friendly and kind. Highly recommd this part of Naxos as well as the apartment.

The lack of some kitchenware such as a toaster, grater, whisk, mixing bowls and Microwave / Oven, made self catering a little more difficult.

George and Barbara and the staff were very friendly, courteous and helpful. The room was very comfortable and cleaned every day. It is very near to the beach, local supermarket and a variety of resteraunts to choose from. The pool and associated area was very clean and moden, the sun beds comfortable and they have umbrellas as well for shade. The whole property is maintained to a high standard. A bus service to Naxos town is an hourly service, costing 2.5 euros one way, but tickets must be bought prior to boarding. These can be purchased in the bus kiosk next to the bus stop.

The staff were so unbelievably kind and friendly. They were so accommodating, asked us when suited to have our room cleaned, gave recommendations for the local area etc. The accommodation is less than 100m from nearby restaurants and shops which are all alongside the beachfront. Would highly recommend this stay and we would be happy to return in the future!

No complaints, it was great

This stay was awesome! The location was great, steps from the beach and some cute restaurants. The facilities (pool, terrace, entrances) are very well kept by George and the rest of the staff, and they are extremely nice people. I’d recommend to everyone!
