How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The host Emmanuel was super helpful with recommendations on places to visit, answered all our questions and put a lot of effort in making us feel comfortable. We also loved the location as it was close to the bus stop and nearby mini supermarket and bakery with the most delicious selection.

The only thing was there was no shower head holder for the shower, but it wasn't too much of a bad thing.
The hotel was wonderful along with the hotelier. We ended up being early and from a previous message we were able to leave our things and go and explore, but when we arrived he said our room was ready which was lovely. He then asked us if we would like recommendations which he proceeded to tell us some lovely things and was just overall great. We were greeted delightfully and everything was ready. The room was clean and very unique.

Fabulous property! Excellent location to shops, restaurants/bars, laundry facilities and supermarket, old town and bus stop to the ports and airport. Very clean and spacious rooms. Very friendly and helpful owner and staff who can assist in guiding you on how to get around Mykonos and things to do/see.

Our room was on the first floor, if you have mobility issues then it will be difficult. The internet connection needs a lot of improvement. It was almost not working.
The location is about 170 metres from Fabrica bus station, very convenient. The owner of the house Mr.Emanuel is a thorough gentleman, helpful and gave a lot of guidance about Mykonos. Our ferry was cancelled due to bad weather, he has helped us in rescheduling our ferry tickets, a special thanks to his kind gesture.If we visit once again Mykonos, this place is our first choice.

The room was spotless and the staff/owner was extremely kind and helpful. The location is perfect as it's 2mins walk away from the bus station and a few minutes away from all the main attractions of Mykonos town centre.

The hotel manager storming into our room at 10:30 telling us we had to check out now, although the offish checkout time is 12. Very unprofessional, Caused an argument between me and my friends.
Really nice central part of Mykonos, 2 minutes from the bus station.

The bathroom isn’t convenient, the shower curtain was dirty, the washing basin in the room isn’t a good idea causing inconvenience For women there is no much facilities for dressing up and make-up

The room was appalling for the price paid and the bathroom unfit for use. Shower broken and when it falls always finds one’s toes. Curtain sticks to one as no space. Basin soap dispenser cannot be serious…falls off and as quite large and sharp could hurt and is in the wrong spot. No views.

The beds were literally like a rock. Woke up with a sore hip and leg. Shame because the little apartment was clean and location of the property was fantastic and the staff were amazing. I only stayed one night so I put up with it for one night but I dread to think having to stay any longer just due to the mattress being so uncomfortable. Also maybe add a little kettle to make a coffee?
