Excellent stay at Makis Seaview apartments. Great location for exploring Skiathos. Exceptionally clean and linen changed regularly . Hosts were extremely helpful. Don't be put off by the uphill walk to the accommodation. The views more than make up for it!

Wouldn’t say didn’t like but the hill up to the property is challenging but a taxi is only 10 euros from the port so knock yourself out you’re on holiday, just an idea is to sell water which would make the hill easier

The apartment is on a hill, so there is a steep walk up to it . This might not be suitable for some people but was fine for me.

The apartment was quiet,clean, modern and comfortable with a lovely balcony and stunning view. It was a relaxing and peaceful place to stay but just 10 minutes walk to the bustling main shopping street and port. The owner was kind and helpful.

Everything was perfect.

We liked everything about this property, the view from the balcony is amazing, the bed and pillows are very comfortable, the host (Katarina) is very welcoming and helpful, they clean the rooms every single day. New and beautifully decorated. Nice garden. Wine, beer and water in the fridge on the arrival and a gift before departure. As others mentioned, there is a short hike uphill (about 5 min from bus station no. 4) but this was not a problem for us, the view is totally worth it. 10 min by foot from the city center. Great value for money.

The location is exceptional, with view to town and sea, with a minimalistic design, for one week was exactly what we were looking for. Close to town, every night we could easily acces the restaurants and the pedestrian area. It was clean, the host was very nice and friendly and she recommended us some restaurants and beaches. Also, easy to acces the bus station. Should take into consideration that the location is on a hill, so you should not have mobility issues.

Some more storage would have been wonderful (even just a few additional hooks) and a kitchen knife would have been very useful as it was difficult to prepare food with a normal 'dinner knife'.

Katarina was an amazing host and we enjoyed meeting her! The room was beautifully clean and well maintained. The view was beautiful, as expected being up the hill! The gifts were so appreciated and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Thank you so much for having us.

We had a fantastic stay here!!! The location for us was perfect, just outside of town with a hill to climb but let’s face it we needed the walk after all the food we ate. The studio was perfectly cleaned everyday and we even had fresh roses left by the bed one day!!! The recommendations for restaurants and beach’s were exceptional too. We would absolutely come back again!!

Good location. Not in the city centrum so you can sleep in a peace, but pretty close to the centrum,just 5 min by walk. Great view from balcony Studio clean Owner came and welcome us, give us tips for bars, restaurants, beaches, car rental office.. When we came we got water, wine and coffe capsules When we were leaving we got small gifts

The view from the apartment is amazing! You can see the whole city and the sea! The room was very clean and comfortable. We had a wine as a compliment from the host when we arrived as well as small gift when we left which was very kind! Only in order to reach the center by walk it’s taking quite long time, so I would recommend the apartment for couples, I suppose if you are with kids it’s more complicated :)

The hosts are the nicest people you’ll ever meet. A family business run with love and care. They offer you water and a bottle of wine when you check in, and a parting gift when you check out. The apartment is kept clean as the cleaning lady comes everyday to refill toileteries and towels and clean the space. All in all, a perfect stay, would definitely stay here again!

It is located on a steep road so it is a little hard to get there by foot, but it’s not a problem if you rent a car or scooter. Also, there could be a bit more storage for clothes as well as for the shampoos in the shower.

Makis Sea Studio is modern, clean and has a stunning view of the Skiathos town centre. Studio has an AC and a smart TV which is a plus. We really liked that cleaning was done everyday. Our host Katerina upon our arrival welcomed us with a nice bottle of wine and water. She also left us microfibre towels which were perfect for sandy beaches. On our last day she gave us a nice going away present so we can remember our stay here.

Stunning view over Skiathos downtown, extremeley clean room and bathroom, big walk in shower, lovely balcony and well furnished cooking area. Away from the noise but close to the next bus station. We asked to prolong our check-out and we could leave the room later than previously planned. The whole room and the towels smell fresh and clean. We had a lovely stay and will definitely come back. Totally recommended!

We loved the location at the top of the hill, because it was so quiet and peaceful with amazing views. But, the steep climb up the hill wouldn’t suit everyone, especially those with young children or mobility issues. That said, there were plenty of taxis and hire cars/bikes/scooters available.

Stunning views of the town and harbour. Very conveniently located, lovely decor and facilities. Very quiet - apart from the cicadas and occasional rooster! Extremely kind, attentive hosts. There was a bottle of chilled wine awaiting us on arrival. On our second day, our host kindly dropped in more coffee pods when we’d run out. Just before our departure, there was a little bag of goodies left hanging on the door as a farewell gift.

We loved the sea view from the balcony, the silence and the kindness of the hosts! They were always helpful and they gave us many advices to spend our vacation in the best way! We will come back for sure!

Smallest of improvements to add to the apartment would be: A set of drawers to store underwear, T-shirts, etc. A tea towel and oven mitt in the kitchenette. A holder in the shower for soap, shampoo etc.

Location is at the top of a very steep hill, worth it for the view but you do need a decent level of fitness to go back and forth several times a day, particularly in the heat.
