It’s truly heavenly, had the best time. The setting is incredible, uninterrupted views, perfect weather and a lovely mix of private terraces and intimate communal areas. The rooms are architecturaly designed, with quality fixtures and fittings. It’s also a very sensory from the french linens, Belgium pool furniture, Olive scented skincare and the stone flooring on your feet is very grounding. Hosts Olivier + Giannis, go up and beyond to provide personalised service. Olivier was often seen engaging with guests while Giannis is cooking up incredible cuisine from local farms. Everyday the menus changes, but the food is always incredible. They grow their own olives, press their own oil, serve honey from a local family farm, make their own preserves. Our stay at Maison Meltem was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by Olivier and Giannis with warmth and genuine hospitality. The property is beautifully designed, blending modern comfort with authentic Cretan charm. The views over Agia Pelagia Bay were absolutely breathtaking—sunsets from the pool were unforgettable. The room was spotless, well-equipped, and thoughtfully decorated, with every detail curated for a relaxing stay. We especially appreciated the comfortable bed, quiet surroundings, and the cool sea breeze that made evenings magical. The location is perfect—just a short ride to the beach, tavernas, and shops, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private. The hosts were incredibly kind and responsive, offering great local tips and ensuring we had everything we needed. We left feeling refreshed, inspired, and already dreaming of our return. An unforgettable experience! My boyfriend and I visited Maison Meltem last month to enjoy some relaxation time together. Our stay there exceeded our expectations, thanks to Giannis and Olivier. They welcomed us and made sure we knew about all the facilities their place has. The room itself was amazing, from the private pool to the room's décor. Everything was very clean and organised down to the finest detail. The view was spectacular, and waking up to face the Cretan Ocean was indescribable. We also took advantage of the lovely jacuzzi. Moreover, Giannis prepared a delicious breakfast with high-quality products, most of which they produce themselves. Overall, Giannis and Olivier- they truly understand the meaning of φιλοξενία! It was definitely one of our best nights, and we will certainly visit Giannis and Olivier at their amazing Maison Meltem again soon! We highly recommend it!

I usually don't write reviews but this one deserves a 10/10. Starting from the incredibly welcoming hosts who were flexible on the check in and out hours. The place was amazing. Space for parking, very clean(and no odors,no moisture) and the view was breathtaking. Better than the photos! Have stayed in many places in Crete and this one stands out!

I spent 3 nights at Maison Meltem to kick off 2 weeks in the islands. I could have spent the entire trip here! Olivier and Giannis were the perfect hosts, tending to my every need. The location is prime for exploring central and eastern Crete. High on the hillside overlooking the sea, the room was spacious, well appointed and had a private infinity pool. Giannis is a talented chef and I was fortunate to share two impeccable meals with other guests in residence. What a wonderfully unique and highly memorable experience - Olivier and Giannis have created something truly special!

The hosts, Olivier and Giannis, were fantastic - and having breakfast and the optional dinner done by Giannis felt like having a private chef! Olivier, Yannis, and Hera welcomed us so warmly into their beautiful home and venue, creating an unforgettable experience. Every single detail was thoughtfully curated—the food, lovingly prepared by Yannis, was absolutely delicious, the rooms were serene and helped us truly connect with nature, and Olivier stayed in touch from the moment we booked to make sure everything was perfect. It’s hard to put into words just how much care and love went into every part of our stay—from the decor to the toiletries, everything reflected deep appreciation for the island, the art of hospitality, and the guest experience. It was our first visit, but definitely not our last!

A little bit difficult to reach the place at the moment due to the rocky and gravel road, but this might change in the future.
