The toilet bowl was grubby and required a more thorough clean. The bottom of the tiles in the shower were mouldy and the shower base and door were also needing either replaced or a thorough clean. The sink was OK but there was no plug. I felt the condition of the bathroom let the property down. We were staying in the main studio of Villa Simona. Our daughter stayed in the other studio of Villa Simona and her bathroom was a little better. Her shower was fine, although her toilet bowl wasn't. Also, on Booking.com, the property was advertised as a 2 bedroom seaview apartment. This is rather misleading as it is 2 studios, there is no separate living room/kitchen. This wasn't an issue for us, although it wouldn't be ideal if you had younger children and were expecting a communal living/kitchen area.

Hugh, General Manager, was extremely helpful and replied to any questions/issues promptly. The gardens & pool area were beautiful and very clean with adequate sun loungers, tables and chairs. The main part of each studio was clean and well kept. The beds were very comfortable and bedding and towels were changed every 3 days. The location was perfect for us. I would return to the property again and hopefully the bathroom issues will be addressed promptly as these easy to fix issues let down what is a really lovely holiday destination!

We were under the impression we had booked a two bedroom apartment and although there were two bedrooms there was no indoor living space and more like two studios, one having a double bed, fridge and small hob and the other having two single beds and a fridge. Both however had bathrooms with showers. The kitchen area wasn’t ideal for cooking as no worktop space and we only had three glasses for four of us. Also no indoor eating space. Beautiful outdoor balcony eating spaces but all quite separate with space for only two people so if you are a family of four eating together wasn’t ideal, although there were other larger communal eating areas in the gardens and near the pool. Might not be ideal for a family of four with young children due to the layout of the bedrooms however as our children were older it was fine and we really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful outside areas and pool. A great base for exploring Kefalonia. A handful of wonderful restaurants within walking distance but advise a car to access beautiful beaches nearby or all over the island as so many beautiful areas to explore. Hugh, the Manager was excellent. He was very informative about the area and very prompt to respond to any issues/queries we had. Views from balconies were amazing.

The accommodation was a little dated in my view, random pipes coming out of the walls, oven and dish washer randomly placed in the living area. The bathroom needs a complete revamp, mould in the shower cubicle and grotty tiles (no fault of the cleaners). The living area furniture could also do with upgrading. We had to swap our mattresses with the ones from the sofa bed which were a little more comfier. Overall we felt we overpaid considerably.

The grounds of this accommodation were beautiful with lovely views. It was always a pleasure to sit outside after a long hard day at the beach and take in those views. The cleaners came every three days of our two week visit and did a great job. The host was very pleasant and did try to help where he could. Recommend a car to get around as not a lot going on in the vicinity.

It needs a total refurbishment. The pool tiles are coming off, the flat garden furniture (sofa and armchairs) needs replacing as the backs are broken, the kitchenette equipment is very basic: we did have only 3 dinner plates and the flat is for 4 people, some plates were dirty with some food marks still on them, the kettle was broken, the fridge rusted missing a shelf and with broken drawer. The shower was missing the head holder, the flash panel would come out when you pressed the flush button. The flat patio would be in the sun from 17:00, the outdoor table is in the sun at lunch time. There are red and blue pipes coming out of the walls as if some building works have not been finished, Wi-Fi is awful in Simona flat and 4G is too weak ( it could be solved with a Wi-Fi extender), the mosquito nets in the windows are broken in the bathrooms and have not been replaced in the bedrooms windows. The place was not very clean overall.

The garden is well kept. Great location for exploring the the beaches in the South. The towels and sheets are changed every three days. We were given some good information about the area from the host.

The property is located on a hill. Gorgeous for the view but would recommend booking a car or scooter/quad beforehand. There are lots of rental companies in the area.

Super clean, very spacious and kind host and staff. The villas are in a quiet area overlooking the coast. beautiful view and great pool area.
