Great quiet Location in the town of Loutra, not too far from Rethymno, and also close to a nice bakery and supermarkets. Swimming pool is really nice, especially for children. The apartment is spacious and has all the facilities we needed :)

WIFI - wifi only worked when we were sitting by the pool, i did message the hosts who came to check and said they'd call the internet company but we didn't hear anything back. Then the last 48hrs of our holiday the wifi was not working at all. This was annoying as I have emails for work I had to send via a laptop. In the end I went down to the local Taverna and used their wifi.

Very quiet, and relaxing. We had the pool pretty much to ourselves most days. Apartment was clean, tidy and spacious.

Perhaps they could change the bes linen and the towels more often, like every 2-3 days instead of every 4-5. But it's minor, compared to the benefits of the place.

The apartment was very comfortable, in a complex that never felt crowded, although it was full. The pools were amazing, surrounded by trees. The air conditioning worked well, no problems with hot water. The complex is 10 minutes away from the beach by car, but it is worth it if you want to avoid the crowds and feel a bit of authentic Cretan atmosphere. There are also awesome Tavernas just 3 min uphill, with nice views, awesome food and playgrounds for kids.

As per one of the previous reviews, we loved the place a lot for everything it offers. We travel without plans and booking places as we go and we came back for another stay within few days (after seeing west part of Crete). Coming back to the same places happens very rarely I our travels, so it says a lot.

We stayed for 10 days, we had to ask for housekeeping that happened only once. No where to put your trash, they should install bins and recycling area. The lights in the room were poor with weak neon lights that give you a migraine. The beds were a disaster.

This was the worst accommodation experience we’ve ever had. There was no reception, and the host almost never answered the phone. On arrival at 6 PM, there was no baby crib (despite confirmation beforehand), and we had to call four times before one was finally brought. The bathroom lights didn’t work from day one, the kitchen lights failed a few days later. We tried calling repeatedly from 9:00 to 15:00 with no response. After waiting three days for a fix, the “solution” was just a small table lamp for the kitchen —completely impractical in a windowless kitchen where we needed to cook for our baby. The apartment itself was in poor condition: sofa sheets were covered in ants, towels were torn, insect screens on windows were damaged, the bathroom wastebasket was broken, and cleaning only happened on day 3 and day 9. We could not even request additional cleaning, even if we were willing to pay extra, because no one ever picked up the phone. To make things worse, the provided shower gel was the same as the shampoo, so you didn’t even know what you were washing your hair with. Overall, this stay was unacceptable—dirty, poorly maintained, and with almost no host support. We would strongly advise against booking this property.

caretaker or whoever she is, her name is POPI, isn’t good to communicate with clients.

nothing to say about the property. but communication with the caretaker or whoever that person is, was very poor because she doesn’t reply at all. we complained about the WiFi but until we left there’s no reply at all from her. thou we know she just live around the area of the resort. my daughter messaged her and called her 3x but never replied. my husband messaged and called her as well. but the same attitude of her maybe…WE WERE IGNORED THE WHOLE DAYS WE WERE THERE. WE RUN OUT OF OUR MOBILE DATAS. So, the only possible way was to locate a place with WiFi.
